Not sure how figured out my life is, but I've killed another diary. Lost last year's diary for a few months (it have gone over the side of the bed and under a chest of drawers and I could only access it when I'd moved absolutely everything else in the room) so I bought a mid year one then found it didn't start until August. So I bought an 18 month one that was in the sale because it only had a few month to go (wanted to check out the layout to see if it suited me). I mainly used that one until December, but started this one from November (kept list and things like festive planning separate from day to day stuff).
So the one I bought at the beginning of last year and this one were both A5, page a day, hardback ones. The original one didn't have much life left in it when I retrieved it from under the drawers so I kept it until I'd transferred all the important information (it had 3 pages of relatives and friends details from when I was organising mum's funeral). This one has been used from November until March 5th. The back and front covers are both bendy, the corners and some edges are white or down to the cardboard (it started off dark purple with pink roses and copper butterflies.
So on to my back up - A Shaker yearbook bought from the new charity bookshop (it's going to do double duty because the illustrations are beautiful photographs of Shaker furniture and interiors so will make beautifully understated cards or notelets later). If it only lasts until August, I can buy another 18 month one to last until December 2023 (or maybe I'll buy a stack of reporter's notebooks and transfer any important information at the end of each day.
Grateful for sleep, my bed, the couch (when I get it all to myself), for making a start on finishing a craft project (and it being fairly painless)10 -
OMG I have suddenly got lots of silver hairs at the front of my head (no, I have not grown a beard, it is at my temples), so I have decided to fantasise I am a red panda today. Not ready to hit the henna yet, I would just look like my head was on fire. I will wait and see what will happen next. I wonder if I will go white overnight? Every morning will be exciting now, until after I look in the mirror anywayRescued DS2 from the bus stop and drove him to college - he missed the bus through sheer laziness. Ranted all the way to college, which is why I have cleaned and cleared the top two floors already - just need to hoover. All Bathrooms cleaned. Windows open to air the house while it is sunny and dry. Lots of towels to stick on a 15 minute quick wash and get out on the line while it is still + temperatures out there. I might be an emotional cleaner. Good job I am mostly calm
or the house would be sterile.
Emails written, and now I am going to settle down with a cup of tea and a book for a couple of hours - while drying laundry obviously....4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Woke up early today and finally got booked on pilates for next week, stole the final slot! Had my coffee then did some pilates at home for about 30 minutes before logging on to work. Busy day all round. Managed a few small household jobs during quick breaks. Went for a walk at lunchtime even though it was snowing here! Dinner then bath, am already prepped for work tomorrow as I have an early start.10 -
Today was an NSD, yay.
Started jury service and they dropped the lengthy selection process that used to take days in court beforehand. Now it's just a phone call and you're in unless you know anyone in court. Very interesting but so hard not to talk about it 😜
So not much to report then.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/2511 -
I had my wound redressed today & it seems to be healing ok.
Back next week.

Staying on NSD 3 after going for lunch with colleagues. I had leftovers with me at the office but decided to not be antisocial when I was invited along for pizza. The good chat and being social was worth more than the £7 it cost.Grateful today for colleague inviting me out with a group for lunch, for decent chat and a very nice pizza at lunchtime, for getting to listen to two interesting podcasts on journeys to and from the office, and for feeling more prepared for tomorrow’s meeting with manager about my progress on a project.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸10

NSD 4 today.
We have masses of snow! Most inconvenient and makes getting around a slow process. DD loves it even though school stayed open (just as well as I was at work). More forecast for tonight but I'm always hopeful they are wrong!
I've finally managed to open a Chase account so will transfer some money over and use it for all day to day spending to maximise the cashback.
All the day to day housework has been done this evening, and once DD goes to bed I might try and sort out 1 of the many piles of stuff that accumulates around the house.10 -
Sticking on NSD4, all food from stores, and still have 1/4 tank of petrol left from 1st Feb fuel-fill-up (yep, I drive that little at the minute). Shunted my expenses payment from work straight to my credit card bill this afternoon.Grateful for a tasty chilli for supper,, made by moi! (in my best Miss Piggy voice!) finding a packet of choc pudding mix to whip up and stick in the fridge for tomorrow, and for dry weather - although not sure anything actually got any drier out there today.... still, it was blue skies and golden radiation.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Evening Turtles. Welcome Mustard, how many is that now beanie? I hope they are not going to be trip hazards, our 4 certainly are!
I can’t believe how many times you have been called for jury service thriftylass, I have managed to get to 60 not being called once and I would rather like to do it.
I feel for you with the grey hair thing f0xh0les, I remember finding my first when I was 40 and pulling it out in horror. Luckily I am quite a light blonde and the grey doesn’t really notice so I don’t need to dye it just yet.
No NSD today as Mr Nobody ate all of the bread in the night. When I got home I realised that I had flour and yeast so made some as well. Although in this house, the more you have of anything, the more that disappears in the night.
Am hoping for no snow in the night as we live halfway up a huge hill. We do tend to escape most of the wintry weather here though being in a little corner of the south east coast, fingers crossed!
Today I am grateful for my bread maker, my morning customer giving me a good laugh and missing the rain.
