Staying on NSD 3Yesterday I bought an age 6 helium balloon from earBay. I’m skipping the helium this year because DS prefers to play with balloons rather than having them float above him. Last year’s age 5 helium balloon has been given a new purpose in life - this year’s wrapping paper!I was woken at 3am this morning after DS had a wee wee accident. I have not been back to sleep so it’s going to be an interesting day with reading/volunteering at the school followed by a trip to the post office to send kids shoes (sold on V!ntd), followed by the cinema (my sleepy self decided to book the cinema for after reading at school), followed by picking up DS from school.OH is away overnight tonight so I’ll be jumping straight into bed as soon as DS is down. 🙂Wish me luck. Have a great day turtles xNST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸10

Amazing news @ditty and @tonis friend
and that is a beautiful view @thrifty_taylor. I’m jealous of all your snow!!
Yesterday was a good day. We had a churros and chocolate brekkie at work to raise money for the earthquake appeal. Was nice to chat to different people on my floor. Writing, meditation and circuits class done. We got a pizza after work (cheap offer if you pick it up yourself) so I stick on 4 NSD I believe.Grateful for gym teacher giving me some advice about my achy knee, for having a few realisations and interesting chats with different people, for it being Friday.
Have a wonderful day turtlesStudent loan £5655

Snow day here so the school is closed and the weekend starts here!! ❄️❄️❄️ All of an inch of lying snow on the ground 🌨️🌨️🌨️ 🤔😂The boys are having a breakfast party in the kitchen with pancakes 🥞🥞. The mood in the house is rather cheery. Poor DH still has to go to work though.
I too am going into the jealous corner because of @Thrifty_Taylor 's fabulous island view.

Just a dusting of snow here but what a beautiful view, Thrifty Taylor.
First day I've been out in ages apart from going to the hospital. Went to HB, Iceland and Aldi to source some Easter eggs. It was only two miles but I was shattered when I got home. This has all taken a lot more out of me than I thought.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -
@Thrifty_Taylor what an amazing view! @Toni'sfriend make sure you take it easy in your recovery.
Is it bad that I can't remember what I did yesterday?! I didn't spend, I remember that much! Think it was just a busy busy day at work and when I got home I just wanted to relax so didn't post.
Today was another busy day, some of my visits cancelled so I snuck home early. I've sold one of my e-bikes on ebay and the buyer is coming to get it shortly. Made back about half what I paid for it, a bit more would've been nice but I priced it to sell - haven't ridden it once since getting my folding one as that one is much more convenient! Hung on to it for a year but finally bit the bullet. Money into savings. Am up to 6 NSD's as of today.
Have also been chasing a refund for an event which got cancelled a few weeks ago, vendor kept telling me it had been processed but it hadn't. Hopefully all sorted now.
We're lucky we only got a small dusting of snow here on Wednesday and it's mainly been rain since then. Not a fan of the snow when I have to go to work in it!7 -
NSD 6, all kids at home for lunch, then a sausage stew for supper. It was very cold here, but all the snow had gone by half eleven, and now I am wondering if the school heating has packed up and that was why school was cancelled. They are only in 3 days next week anyway due to strike action.Gratitudes: trashy novels, sausages from the freezer, and hot water bottles4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

NSD 7.
No new snow, but it's so cold the lying snow is going nowhere fast. I'm laughing at your school snow day with an inch of lying snow @f0xh0les, poor DD got no snow days and walked to school with the snow about the top of her wellies- email from school to all parents yesterday asking that all kids had spare socks with them 😁
Lots of pictures back up in the painted rooms this week, they now look "finished", need to make a start on sorting the next room. DD is at her dad's for a few days I the Easter holidays so I may wait until then.
I'm away to make a meal plan for next week using up some of the bits in the freezer and cupboard, so I can then write a shopping list for Monday.
Then it's the sofa, a hot water bottle and something on Netflix!

Today I am grateful for being mortgage free (DH paid it off yesterday and just muttered that he'd done it, almost as an afterthought 🤣), for actually getting an awful lot done at work despite having a solid full day of teaching, for a slight possibility re working in September, for dc making it into school only one lesson late, for my niece telling us that Whitley bay train station is closed tomorrow which means dh has had time to plan his route.
