    Got to be fresh soft fruit, and real maple syrup.

    Real maple syrup is available much cheaper in both the German discount supermarkets [Lidl/Aldi] than in any of the other mainstream supermarkets.

    As per last year - some with the traditional lemon & sugar and some savoury, rolled and filled with chilli/corned beef hash etc. I rather fancy some filled with raspberries and topped with a drizzle of cream or chocolate sauce. I'd better make a large batch! 😊

    I have already had my pancakes I had lemon and sugar, I have the ingredients to do it again, but I am not sure I will! I do like nutella on it, but not this year. Another favourite which I have had this year also is cinnamon and sugar yum! Enjoy allXX

    Today - Shrove Tuesday - I had pancakes with lemon and sugar and cinnamon and sugar, I had too many though and I am now stuffed!
