We have fresh lemons, sugar, chocolate spread and marshmallows. We decided that pancakes will be our dinner tomorrow:money::rotfl::T1

Grandson is hoping to have pancakes three times tomorrow. For breakfast at school breakfast club, for school lunch and again when he gets home.3

Savoury first, mushroom, sweet peppers onion and cheese filling. Then decisions about desserts ... Possibly one with lemon and sugar, one with maple syrup and some ice cream and if I still have any room, maybe chocolate spread. Or butter and golden syrup. Hmmmm tricky!
I am looking forward to trying a nice new pancake pan which I asked for as a gift at Christmas, as our old one wasn't very non stick any more.1 -
Growing up we always had lemon and sugar.
Now I make either chicken and mushroom, or seafood. Both made with a cheesy white sauce.1 -
Over the years I have perfected the art making sure no one in the family knew it was pancake day

I eat pancakes any time of the year. Just buy a pack of 8 from the supermarket and freeze in packs of two. Lemon juice also frozen. Buy several lemons, squeeze and freeze in one meal portions.

I made a batch of pancakes on Sunday afternoon when it was nice and quiet. They are now in the freezer.0

When I did a cookery course many moons ago, we made a gallette, one of the nicest things I have tasted.
Maybe useful for any leftover pancakes.
I sometimes do it now, but it's never as good as the one we made at technical college.2 -

I'm having lemon juice, gorgeous. With maybe a dash of sweetener. Mmmmm.
'Tuesday's child is full of grace'. At least you have an easy way of knowing the day of the week you were born on, without having to Google it.

Strawberries and black pepper (a wonderful combo even not on pancakes - try it instead of sugar and cream and all that marlarkey). The best ones I ever had were in Bend, Oregon, ('proper' pancakes, not the horrible rubbery US kind) and had frozen yoghurt and green chillies on them. Sweet baby jesus and the orphans, they were utterly magical.0
