Shrove Tuesday: what are you having on your pancakes?

Pancake lasagne to start (bolognese mince in each pancake and wrapped, topped with cheese sauce) and plain pancakes with sugar & lemon for pud.

We're having pancakes tomorrow as DS is on a night shift. He likes chocolate spread on one and lemon and sugar on the others. I'm traditional, I like lemon and sugar, DP likes his rolled up with ice cream in the middle

I make all the pancakes first and stack them on a plate over a pan of hot water with a tea towel on top.

Then first one is savoury, sauteed peppers onions etc with a cheese sauce, ham etc, or maybe chilli TSP.

Second one is always a banana with maple syrup and squirty cream.

Then lemon and sugar or more syrup if they like.

I forgot

. However i did have an omelette for tea so not too different. Except mine was with mushrooms and garlic, not sugar and lemon!

pancake day is one of my favourite days of the year, you can't beat a pancake can you! we have Nutella and strawberries, lemon and sugar and then golden syrup. Although when I went to Sainsburys there was no strawberries

Some muppet at school told one of mine.. they don't even like them.. they are gross.. like dead flesh slices.. OH made 8... and he ate all of them.. the children had one bite and icked them.
