I'll see what happens but my switch is for the 17th of March from TSB, hopefully TSB will give the £125 by then!
The current TSB offer (assuming that's what mr_accountant is working with) is due to pay out 'by 21st April' and iirc TSB tend to pay out near the deadline, not earlier. The terms state that if the account is closed before the pay out there will be no pay out. So if mr_accountant is switching away from TSB on 17th March I doubt they'll pay anything.35har1old said:

Oh well we shall see, unfortunately I did not have another burner account, and ulster wanted the switch details there and then, tried searching online for a switch form for ulster but couldn't find one, unlike some banks where its possible to fill in switch form at a later date.Zanderman said:mr_accountant said:Applied yesterday and was provisionally accepted, also filled in the switch details at the same time, gave me an application reference and something along the lines of we'll send an email witin two days.

If its the current offer the payment can be as late as 21st April into the TSB accountmr_accountant said:
I think the cass takes 7 days, so tsb won't get the request until 10th march and I've met all the t+c's35har1old said:

when I opened my FD a week ago and requested switch the message said: we inform your old bank straightaway and start organising things behind the scene the next working daymr_accountant said:

I don't think the CASS notification timing is relevant, the main issue is that the t&c's are not met if the account is closed before the bonus is paid, which will be the case (for the TSB deal) if the account is closed in early March, regardless of the detail of the CASS timing.jadex said:

Too bad I'm blacklisted after NatWest terminated my accounts with them... When I opened second Reward current account in 2021, they decided to close both my current accounts.
Is it worth calling them and try to speak about this or no point?

You can apply - Ulster Bank is now just a division of NatWest Bank (no longer a standalone bank within the group)Alex9384 said:Too bad I'm blacklisted after NatWest terminated my accounts with them... It could be accepted, refused at application stage or closed afterwards by the Application Verification Unit (AVU)1 -

Thanks, but I thought being a "standalone bank" is better than being a division of NatWest?
Anyway, I had a switch bonus from NatWest in November 2018, so I'm not eligible.
"You won’t be eligible for this offer if you (or in the case of a joint account, either account holder) have already taken advantage of a cash switcher offer from NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland and/or Ulster Bank between 1st October 2017 and 13th February 2023."
Their credit card eligibility checker says I'm eligible for their CC with a £3,450 limit, which is a good sign.

Many on this forum have reported that even if you've had a switching offer from ,say, NatWest, you'll still get one from, say, Ulster, despite that wording.Alex9384 said:Deleted_User said:
