... that doesn't sound right @atlantis187 ...atlantis187 said:I didnt get the natwest money as they said we had an incentive in 2008
The other RBS and Ulster went smoothly
I would raise a complaint with this ...

Ooo actually they gave me a railcard when I opened it as a student account, also in 2008. So perhaps that scupper it.atlantis187 said:I didnt get the natwest money as they said we had an incentive in 2008

Hi,
I recently did a switch to RBS in February earlier this year and got the £200 switch bonus. What would the chances be if I switched my RBS account to Natwest and get another £200 bonus? Has anyone got any experience of inter-banking group switches?
Thanks0 -
Hi @NorthEasterner123 ... I think that might be considered impolite (don't prod the banks). I would suggest a 'donor' account from outside the group.NorthEasterner123 said:Hi,

Actually both RBS and NatWest digital regular savers are worth considering and need the current account.1 -
I'd suggest creating a donor account with someone like Metro and switching that.NorthEasterner123 said:Hi,

I started my switch from Chase to RBS yesterday, account created but no text to email from RBS regarding the switch, is that normal? Had one immediately when I started the Lloyds switch.0

Of the two options, I would actually consider the latter as more impolite. There's already an account the OP doesn't seem to intend to use (so counts as a donor). What's the point in wasting another bank's resources to open yet another useless account when the chances of getting a second reward from another NWG member are the same.dealyboy said:

I'm plodding through a switch to Ulster Bank. How long do I have to leave the £1,250 in the account to qualify? Would overnight suffice?0

Once it's in the account it can be transferred straight back out again so doesn't even need to stay in the account overnight.BarGin said:I'm plodding through a switch to Ulster Bank. How long do I have to leave the £1,250 in the account to qualify? Would overnight suffice?1
