I received the NatWest incentive on 06/03 and the RBS incentive on 23/03.

Could I still switch to Ulster bank to get their bonus? If yes then is an Ulster account easy enough to open outside of Ireland?

Ideally I should have started all three switches at the same time, however because there will now be a small gap between my completed RBS switch and my new application to switch to an Ulster account now, I'm doubtful that I'd receive the bonus  :|

Just bagged all 3 , Nat West, Ulster and RBS for me and my wife. All applied for at different times and both also had switch bonus in 2018 so not technically eligible. Thanks to all those who said it could work as we were not going to try it at first. Glad I checked the forum as it has been very useful. :):)
    Cheers!!!

Go for it @WLewer98 ... it takes about 4 weeks and you'll be confused along the way, but almost all of us have been successful.

    Key pointers:
    - they don't do a photo id check or documents check
    - choose a branch in Northern Ireland (e.g. mine is Castlewellan BT31 9DB
    - keep a note/screenprint of the application reference number at the end of the online application
    - you'll receive a confirmation form in the post, sign it and check your application details page and include it in the return envelope
    - have a look at a couple of MSE'er timelines on this thread, p34, p35

    Come back with any issues.

Ulster switch completed on 31st March. Money went in and out, several app logins. How long do they take? Hoping for today, latest tomorrow to bank in this fiscal to stick in an ISA.

Mine completed on the 31st as well. Based on others' reports it could be today, it could be a week from now. Fingers crossed we get it tomorrow 🤞

I'm glad I checked this thread. I'd assumed based on the Ts and Cs I wouldn't be benefiting from this round of offers due to enjoying an RBS incentive a few months ago. I'll give NatWest a crack and hope today isn't the day they clamp down...

... as long as you've applied before the end of the incentive is announced you should be OK.

(I think there's usually some warning, but I'm sure somebody will correct me).

    Hi all.
I'm very late to this party as I didn't have an account to switch but applied yesterday to switch an account to Nat West. Nat West is already open and I can log in but there's been no further acknowledgement of switch in progress or a switch date. Is this par for the course? When I've switched an account previously I'm sure I've had a switch date at the time of applying. I was going to get my husband to switch if all goes smoothly but at the moment am holding off.
    Thanks
