New Natwest / RBS / Ulster Bank £200 Switch Incentive

Hi @gele ...
Just to be clear, this is a new NatWest account?gele said:Hi all.
I'm very late to this party as I didn't have an account to switch but applied yesterday to switch an account to Nat West. Nat West is already open and I can log in but there's been no further acknowledgement of switch in progress or a switch date. Is this par for the course? When I've switched an account previously I'm sure I've had a switch date at the time of applying. I was going to get my husband to switch if all goes smoothly but at the moment am holding off.
Thanks
In my case it took a couple of days before it was opened and access was initially restricted . The first communication I received about the switch was a couple of days after that in an e-mail 'Your current account switch has started!'

Just got an update email. Apparently according to Nat West it'll be 'all wrapped up' by 14/4. No mention of £200 yet but quite impressed so far.

So we've done a fair bit of switching recently. Both husband and I are doing ti with our solo accounts.
Both moved from Starling to NatWest, He got the bonus and I didn't because I apparently did it before in 2017?
Both switched again to Halifax and got the £175 each.
Now both put the switch request in for RBS in the hope like others they will allow it to go through and we bag the £200 each but I not too hopeful.0 -
I didn't get the incentive, they checked me out, took a chance as I've had one before for RBS/NatWest, in fact almost every bank now except FD but that's my main account.👎moneyworrier2021 said:So we've done a fair bit of switching recently. Both husband and I are doing ti with our solo accounts.

I’m interested to know…
if I open up accounts for my kids, pop £1250 in each and transfer them to Natwest, would they get the offer?
no mention of age other than must be 11+ for the app.
doesn’t mention salary, direct debits, age limits etc.0 -
You have to be 18 to apply for a current account.adamck said:I’m interested to know…

With attention of the people who have received their incentive from NatWest.
How long did it take from switch from your old bank to receiving the £200?0 -
About 5 working days from meeting all criteria, not switch completion.0
