Using mediation for financial agreement

That's helpful TAG.
It is useful to have it spelt out clearly.
I have emailed him today just to briefly put my proposition to him. That either:
He gives me a bit more than half of the equity (nothing in shariah law which specifies an exact percentage).
OR
He is ordered by a judge to give me some of his money which I will happily accept as payment for all of the bills, mortgage etc that I paid out over the years so that he could save and pay off the mortgage quicker. Under shariah law I am entitled to keep any money that I earn, and do not have to pay any bills. So again, no guilty conscience.
He is now abroad for the few weeks I think so I've no idea when he will get it. And really don't care. I'm in no great hurry.0
