  • Its nice to see the pots brimming but satisfying to know the spend is coming from somewhere, I am sure they will be topped up on no time!

Yes and gives me something to potter about doing this weekend other than spending :D  although there's a really thick padded coat I popped on there last week with the same thought, which nobody seems to be interested in.  Shame as it's perfect for back to school and practically new so if it doesn't go by Sunday I am going to pop onto the charity shop and hope it will be of use to someone there! x

Maybe the coat might sell this weekend for you. The temperature locally has dropped a fairly bit this week so it might prompt people to think about a coat if it's the same near you

Shopping ✓ some yellow items ✓ Family afternoon out ✓
Going to get the soup maker out of hibernation as Ive bought reduced peppers and tomatoes and posh bread.
One haircut to go before school starts, money is set aside and 49 in the food, petrol and fun fund till payday on Friday.
As long as I take it easy that should be enough. Less spendy days start again here ....famous last words but I'll try.
My debts no change. UC haven't asked for any money yet and my other two I've not paid since Barclaycard bought out Tesco. I've tried but all the payments kept bouncing back. When they contact me I'll repay. As awful as it sounds I've tried to pay more than once so I'll wait now to be chased. Ideally I would save a full and final fund but I keep using the money for other things , whoops.
DH debts I've no idea the actual number but from the size of the minimum payments it's over 10k plus the push bike he bought. Feel like we will be paying debts off forever 😂

Drooling over here, a well made soup with fancy bread and lurkpak butter is one of my top underrated meals, that and jacket potatoes lol! I am trying to hold out on the boys haircuts this week to save my £20 we have very little on and they weren't done long ago for our holiday  :D Its frustrating when you are chasing to pay money you don't want to pay in the first place, I am sure they will be in touch shortly x

They will definitely be in touch when they want you to pay something!  Just keep smashing your debts and hopefully eventually DH will come around.

Soup was good. The sweet peppers tasted very bitter so I chucked a couple of carrots in with them Tomatoes, red pepper and carrot soup. Turned out well. And seen as no one else like it I've got two more days worth!

Yeah hopefully he will as the d debits for his debts keep creeping up so we never have a surplus of fun money in the household account. Mine I'll pay when they are ready ha ha. Been at this long enough to know not to stress about it too much.

Not much to report money wise. Should get wage slip in the next couple of days to see what my back pay/increase is. Hoping for about 200 back pay but I'll see. Made a plum crumble as the plums I bought were a bit harsh when I tried one. V nice in a crumble though :)

  • Love a crumble, I popped to my parents this aft to use their strimmer and noticed the apples were dropping and plenty of rhubarb so I was thinking a crumble may be on the cards,  I couldn't have made it in the sun today though ha ha  :D

Rhubarb crumble and custard is a win. As are rhubarb and custard sweets . Our apples have been a bit dodgy this year. Not fit for anything except sending to a friends farm for the animals to eat 😂
