Due to be out later for a local parade but the wind has started to be quite strong so I'll see what to do later. Might have to disappoint the kids if the gusts get too strong. DH working, eldest probably will want to stay at home anyway. I sat down and reworked the budget yesterday as DH has reduced the amount he wants to put towards bills. It's doable. Just need a few months of catch up. Off to check the weather forecast as the wind is howling outside

    How’s your sons shoulder ?

Does DH unilaterally get to decide that ? I don’t want to put as much in the bills but it’s not an option ?

Honestly, who wouldn't like to put less towards the bills - including you I'm sure! Assuming it's not a fight you want to have, could he be persuaded to keep it at the current level until you are back on top of things?  It's quite unfair when you've been having to deal with reduced income for the last few months.

Eldest shoulder is much better. I'm still gonna watch him but he says it's getting better and he's moving it about a lot more and he says he doesn't need it seeing. Hard to tell with teenagers.
Re: bills. We were supposed to be talking about the money situation but as yet it's not happened. Need to work out if he's expecting to give less permanently or just his first few weeks wage. Whilst he was off he signed up for a loan/finance? for a push bike. He hasn't shared the details but Google says bike is selling for about 4.5k. he also runs a motorbike and car and has recently had to buy a new motorbike helmet which he put on the card. Not sure there's gonna be much money left over whatever gets decided....

I'd love to put less in. I'm in desperate need of a haircut and maybe hair dye. I've been growing out the grey but I'm at the two-three inches stage and I'm not sure I'm ready for it yet. It looks nice but a mess all at the same time 😂

Yes that sums it up really. I never heard back from intrum about the settlement offer but honestly I don't think I'm gonna to pay it now. Too many other things to pay for. 😂

Is he thinking that you obviously coped on less money when you didn't have his wage so anything he gives you now is just a bonus.  Obviously not taking into account that you were using savings and applied for UC.  He wont see it like that if he is anything like my XH

Yep that's been mentioned. Honestly though he's just sh**with money and doesn't think anything through.

Definitely don't clear his debt if he's not willing to cover it!
