It was intrum. I had a really good discount with them years ago. 65% off. Was about the six year point though after fairly low payments. I think they clear out old debts every so often cos they always say no if you offer but then randomly an email with a massive discount appeared if we can pay before end of mayjwil said:My DMP debts never give me offers, it's so annoying! (Not that I'm really in a position to take them). I hope they accept the 70%. I get the dilemma though.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

DH back at work so have requested to close UC credit claim. He's paid weekly so although it might be a part payment this Friday we won't qualify after that. Think we will have about three weeks worth of benefits to receive if we were entitled this payment period. Should be back to normal income a week on Friday. YayJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Aiming to reapply for tax free childcare now and hopefully have it up and running for after the half term. It's all life admin isn't it this parenting malarkey. No one was sick in the night so I'm crossing my fingers for a better day. Wed is normally a busy day at work so I need to be able to crack on and catch up a bit from yesterday too ha ha.
No Tilly tallies for a while so no exciting debt busting news but hopefully normal service will resume after my payday at the end of the monthJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Mine are about 10 years old now I think and I've always kept the payments low, one is £15 and one is £20 pm. One is link and one is cabot but managed by wescot. I've tried making offers a couple of times but they've always come back with very small discounts.NeverendingDMP said:

No ones been sick in the night. Yay. I've had some sleep I feel human again and have done a good shop. Got 90 quid to last till Friday after bills so looking okay for the budget too. The eldest came off his bike after school yesterday. He seems convinced he has done something to his shoulder so I need to watch how he's moving and maybe end up with a 111 call to get seen somewhere. I wasn't really well enough yesterday to tell. He's playing X box and eating and sleeping okay just need to see how he moves it as the day goes on. Also sent 20 pounds to my pension ISA this morning. May as well put a bit in every so often to get the top up.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Glad you are feeling better and hope DS is ok. Definitely worth chucking something into the isa whenever you can."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
