  • Numbers still all over the place. I think my banks were worried as they intermittently declined transactions yesterday/asked for pin again etc. I spent across three cards so if one said no I could use the next. Once it's all cleared I can add up and shuffle the money back round to the right places.
Just immediate family and one child to finish buying for. She said father Christmas knows what she wants and it will be a surprise for us when we see it!
And iPad has now been paid for to rent for the year.
One child passed swimming stage today so certificate bought as well as an emergency breakfast as we were running late.
Today is a tidy up and get organised day now!!

My son years ago when asked told me that you tell me Santa is always watching so I’ve told him what I wanted and he will get it so I’ve no need to write a list !  I explained how Santa has lots of children’s lists to remember so wouldn’t it be best if we wrote it down for him too ….. little buggers ……

  • I'll try that.
Reminds me of my eldest a few years ago about sept time wanting something really expensive, me saying that's a lot, etc etc and him saying it's okay I'll ask father Christmas instead. Man in the next aisle was in stitches

  • So they donated wines and spirits yesterday for dressing up but I bought that last week so all sorted. Aside from that I dont think either school or anyone at work has asked me for money for anything this week.
School iPads, school trips and various contributions I'm happy to pay are now all up to date.
Xmas shopping still needs work but it's not Dec yet so no panic.
I'm on a New budget week, as OH is weekly paid so food shops spends and petrol resets every Friday. I've bought petrol and food to last  till tomorrow tea time so need to get some proper shopping in and have a count up.

Not posted much on here recently. Need to check in more to be more accountable. Just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day and days in the week sometimes. We re about 18150 owed with about 800 in the e fund. So tempting to use some to break the 18k barrier before New year's eve. I'll see.  Back to monitoring the weekly shop again first I think as that has been getting out of hand.
I'm aiming to drop the equivalent of my lowest debt next year which is 1900. Big ask but am fed up of the debt now and the mental effort it takes up.in having it so it's gonna have to be done.
