  • I know feels difficult at the moment but it is worth it if it means you aren't getting into more debt. So any progress is good progress. I hope the joint account situation works out for you.

Hope so. The hope is it feels like the responsibility less all on me.

  • So not posted for a while as I feel like I'm making no progress but the e fund has 560 in so actually it's going okay.
    Snowball plan is as follows.
    43
    156
    756
    1350
    1441
    1766
    2290

Some are debts, some are money commited to school trips, planned events etc, even though these not due straight away it's kind of a debt as it's gonna have to be paid and it helps to have the small stuff on to motivate doesn't it 😂. Should I continue to try for the elusive 1000 e fund or stop at 750 to do some debt busting so I feel like I've achieved something.  I've got my grid prepared for the 156 one. Each square is a pound.

Why not get to £750 and then split any funds 50:50 between debt and continue growing the EF?

  • Think I might, feels more achievable.  E fund is at 560 so far.  Once I hit 750 I'll just put a fiver a week in it or something to keep it growing

I think it's nice to see it keep growing, whilst also tackling the debts.
