    Great progress!

  • Thanks Jwil.

I've contacted my c card too who applied the late payment fee and charges to check what's gone on and ask for them to take the costs of again. I think I was still at zero percent and the payment went through properly but we will see what's gone on. If you don't ask you never know do you.

Bought the treat McDonald's, not that cheap anymore is it but I got a few bits with reward points so that helped!

Hope you get the CC resolved.

McDonalds seems to have gotten much more expensive since the kids have grown out of happy meals!

  • Thanks it all just seems to be money going out at the moment. Been a couple of family celebrations and it's a spendy time of year anyway.

  • More letters/costs from school.
School disco- done enjoyed. Total spend 18 pounds. Tickets x 2 at three pounds each  spends x 3 at 4 pounds each. Gave eldest same amount of spends cos he can't go now he's at high school.

Picture day for two youngest children this week. Explanation of what to donate for the next four Fridays for own clothes, mad hair day etc and letters for breakfast with Santa. 2 X 5 pounds.

Highschool -60 to rent the iPad for year seven then 17 a month from next sept to be paid in years 8 9 and 10 to buy one. Optional but work in class and the homework is set on them so will likely be signing up.

Other random things imminently due secret Santa at work £10 limit and works Xmas do £22 plus and drinks (it's a meal so won't be an alcoholic frenzy as we all drive home). Might say no thanks this year as clashes with kids Carol concert and that's thirty pounds not spent if I don't go.

I was about to say it is coming up to the expensive time of year (Christmas) at school but then thought that it is the same all year round.

We keep donating little bits here and there but it all adds up

We've had a flurry of spends for school as well.  Not as much as yours though!

  • It's always a spendy term isn't it. Requests this week are money for remembrance sunday-thats a yes and letters from father xmas for a fiver each, thats a no. Also a no will be all the Xmas games nights and Christmas fairs at each school. Not had those letters yet!! Excellent fund raisers but money zappers when three kids are with you.
The highschool also does a rewards trip to a shopping centres apparently the week before Xmas. Not had details yet but so far he's on target with enough good points to go....

Need to look at the budget again don't I 😂
