So you say I can open Moneybox and Plum and set up a £5 direct debit for each to come from my TSB account and that way I have fulfilled the requirenment. Later I just withdraw and put it elsewhere. Onepounddd looks sketchy so no thank you.ndrw said:

The "make at least 5 debit card payments per month" is easy and I will do that via Paypal, also to benefit from the cashback on the account.0 -
Looks even more like scam. Thanks for posting but no thank you.Zanderman said:

But it isn't! It's actually very useful, I've used it for DDs several times in recent years. As have many others on here.pecunianonolet said:

I can arrange for two 'active' direct debits to be switched but my question is will they accept as 'active' direct debits from which nothing is actually taken [eg dormant but open credit cards]?.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

Probably working as you say but that money is gone. I think I just have to switch DD for all my credit cards.Zanderman said:

Quidco is £30 for Spend & Save and £40 for S&S Plus. TCB is £20 and £40 and these are the same rates as last week before. For me Quidco tracked £30 for a TSB account opended in December and tracked again for another one opened in January. Hoping to get cash back twice, if not, I at least can get the £5 cash back each month.billyboy said:Top Cashback now pointing to correct TSB page and offering £40. I think that was smalldirectdebits? Who weren't 'shut down' as such they 'just' (!) stopped getting support from GoCardless who provide the underlying DD service. But they got it back again later.Aidanmc said:pecunianonolet said:

But whatever/whichever they are both operating at present. They cost you money, obviously, but very little compared to the switching bonus.
Indeed I just set up a £1 annual DD on smalldirectdebits with this TSB offer in mind, to add to an existing working DD on an account I'll be switching. Had the confirmation emails etc as usual already. It's a good option, and is costing me just £1.
Edited to add: That new £1 annual is merely intended to get me the initial bonus, it's not crystal clear from the T&C whether the subsequent bonus in September needs monthly DDs, it just implies it, but I can worry about that later.0 -
