    Evening all,

Got called into work AGAIN today - it's not the working I mind, it's the lack of planning/organisation. If they had said to me 'do you mind working all next week', that would have been fine. but they didn't, they said 'there's no work next week', then have called me in everyday so far. How am I supposed to plan around that????? I can't go anywhere in case I get a phone call asking me to come in - can't say no too many times else they stop asking. Think I will say that I can only work up to Friday - can't work Sat/Mon anyway. I can see I will be doing my shopping on Christmas Eve at this rate.

Hope you all had a good day, think I will go and do my meal plan.

  • Evening Guys!

This afternoon has been a mad rush of trying to complete tasks and making calls just incase I go in on Friday and everything is done for next week. I will pack a bag tomorrow and make sure I take a book (have some great thrillers not read yet)with me and my glasses. At least there should be stuff to watch on the TV:rolleyes: If I go in (£3 a day though for TV:eek:   ), it will probably be for 7-10 days as I need infusions daily and for them to monitor closely. Wonder if you get an Xmas dinner in there:confused: ...hope so! Will also charge my mobile and take in charger as they want 59p a minute using theirs! Have just put another £10 on it for the free 300 texts and calls, so have around £19 on there and people can call me. Im hoping I will get on the same ward as October as they were lovely.

Tonight we watched Oliver and we made some Chilli cheese nachos to munch on whilst watching and they were quite nice.

OH is still bruised and sore and his stitch has come undone, so he may need to have it stitched up again. Have the nurse coming tomorrow, so will ask if she can take a look. He's getting used to getting his tackle out:rotfl: ...poor guy:D ...some of the feedback regarding OH having a vasectomy has been quite amusing! I think people think because I am disabled, I am not allowed or not capable of having sex. We're 33....of course we need sex:D ;):p

Tomorrow I have the cleaner coming, so nothing much to do, but will need to do about 3 washloads.

Our fridge is so bare as I dont have a delivery till Saturday. All we have in there is 3/4 pack of small cheddar, packet of ham, left over chilli, half cucumber, 3 carrots, anchor x 2 and loads of condiments....Ive never seen it so empty. I got out a frozen TTD (reduced) liver/bacon and mash meal for lunch to help with the iron intake...OH can have soup and bread or beans on toast and DD has a school dinner. Dinner tomorrow night is Shepherds Pie and will make an extra one for next week for an easy meal for OH/DD & hopefully I.

Right, well Im going to try and get some sleep. Hugs to all.

  • Oh thriftlady, I can't pretend I'm not sorry you've decided against TV stardom, but I so empathise with your position. I would hate the loss of anonymity:o You can still inspire us all on this thread:D

Well I had a bad sore throat, but that is improving quite quickly, but now I've got a cold galloping in:rotfl: :rotfl: Should make the journey down to my dad tomorrow interesting. 200 miles of me sneezing, then on Friday, another 200 miles back with me sneezing all the way:rolleyes: :D

Hopefully I'll be around at the weekend;) So hope you all have 2 fruitful days. ( I'm down to only 3 pressies to get:T :T Ooops, haven't got anything for DH, make that 4:o )

Oh and a little aside to PP......sex continues to be pleasurable and desirable way past 33:rotfl: ;)

    Speak soon,

pen pin. sorry to hear you might be in hospital over christmas, but your health is much more important.
re hubby's stitch - they usually just leave it alone if stitch fails, but get nurse to check it. might need a dressing.

well I am officially on holiday now. :):):)
tree is up, some presents have arrived, had a fight with Virgin Mobile (posted in Vent forum, still raging about it)

 Who are you and what have you done with Aussielass???????

Churchie. Are you snotty? :p (Don't answer that:D ) and drive safely tommorrow) You will probably concentrate better if you stop thinking about sex all the time. ;) :p:D

PenPen....I can't believe the hospital are being so vague with you about a potential Christmas admission. Though I'm surprised you haven't been taken in sooner to sort your haemoglobin out. Good luck anyway.

I did far too much this afternoon and conked out on the sofa after tea. :o Woke up to find that OH had cleaned the kitchen (which was covered in fudge and chocolate), put the girls to bed and peeled all my Christmas veggies for the freezer. I think whoever has body snatched Aussie has been here too. ;)

Downside is that I'm now wide awake and OH is up at 6am to drive to Skye. I'll be worried about him all day as the roads are so bad. icon9.gif
Nativity again tommorrow and then a trip to the office.

    Night night everyone. xxx

Well Haribo, now that I'm not a young lusty thing like you some of my pleasure has to come from thinking about it:rotfl: :rotfl: Don't be such a spoilsport:p

My nose is coming along nicely. If Rudolph should find himself inconvenienced on 24th, I will make a suitable substitute:D

If you discover who substituted DH, please send them to my house;)
