            Morning all,
Doing some Christmas baking at the mo -florentines and mince pies. I'm planning to do my last food shop tomorrow and we're collecting our goose from the farm on Sunday. My mum's coming over with holly and mistletoe this afternoon. These along with a real tree constitute our Christmas decorations. We'll put the tree up after school on Friday. All the presents are wrapped, and I've counted all the stocking fillers over and over again to make sure they've all got the same amount of presents  too many again.
I could do with a bit of advice -you've probably seen the thread about the new TV programme and read about Lillibet's experiences. Well, they've asked me (I'm sure they've approached others too). My instinct is to say no, no ,no! I'm too shy to be on telly, I dread seeing myself (looking like my mother).I won't be anonymous any more either and I'm not sure how I feel about that. On the other hand I keep thinking of things I could demonstrate on the programme and as Lillibet says it could be fun. What do others think, has anyone else been asked ?0 -

Afternoon everybody! It's my finally last day at work today before Christmas and I'm so glad
I've got to spend tomorrow making Christmas things to take to relatives in Germany in the evening - so I'm going to be busy, but at least I'm not in the lab! I managed to get a huge squishy carrot cake through in my hand luggage last time, but it looked dreadful when it arrived (I didn't intend to take it, but OH thought it would be a good idea  ). If I do fruit cake tonight it can go in the hold baggage
I might do some sweets too, depending on how much time I have.
OH's parents don't have net access so I'm going to be offline until we get back, but I really hope you all have a good Christmas and New year and wish you all all the best for the festive season. cel x
I think you'll be great on TV too thriftlady!:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
            Afternoon Guys!!
Kyle-Hugs hun....keep your chin up!
Couldnt get myself going this morning, but once pain killers had kicked in, it was a little better:rolleyes:
Have a delivery from Tesco coming Saturday, so keep going in and adjusting what we need/want. Found a £12 voucher code to use on an £80 shop. Shopping only came to £60, so added a couple of bags of their stewing lamb which is frozen and makes lovely stew/soup/pie etc, also a large chicken and some bits to take away on holiday with us.
WM has been on and DW just about to go on. Toilet has been cleaned:D
Had an email last night about a 3 bed bungalow. The people might be interested in our house. Had a look at the location and seem fine and would only add about 5 mins too DD's school run. Its in a different borough, so not sure how we would stand with the help from the council, but have emailed back asking if possible to view in the new year. Fingers x'd! OH will finish the decorating by then and we can make it all ship shape before they view;)
Hope everyone is well and ok.
Hugs to all.
