  • Good Morning All

Middle of the week already  time is going nowhere, mind you I will be glad when 2007 is over.

Spent longer in town yesterday than I expected so not much wrapping done, will hopefully finish it off tonight bar for nephews gift which still hasnt arrived - have a feeling I will need to pop out somewhere again to pick it up.

Today am visiting my Nan with DS as he has now broken up. Its an hours drive away and only spend about 30 mins there as otherwise its too much for her and us if I am honest. She is waiting for a new hearing aid and at the moment is stone deaf so you have to write notes. Recently when I saw her she was so happy so see people it didnt matter that you couldnt have a conversation but lately she seems to find visitors too much hard work. Am hoping she is having a good day and can enjoy our visit today.

On the way home will be popping to local asda to pick up some more photo frames and paying cheques into the bank. Monday when I went they were queing to get in the car park though strangely the shop was quite empty  . I must admit that I am now getting to the point where I cant wait for everything to be back to normal again.

Anyway going to finish my tea, have a quick surf and then make DD's lunch - she doesnt break up till Friday lunchtime - she is not happy about that at all.

    Have a great day.

DLB sorry to hear the kids are so sick again. Hope they're better soon

Hugs to all who need them.

Had a lovely evening last night at a belly dancing night with friend and her Mum. Was nice not to drive and have a few brandies:D . Was annoyed to come home to find Oh had eaten the soup I'd made earlier but hadn't bothered to clear up after himself or put the dishwasher on:mad: .

Just about managed to freeze some mince pies before they all went! Today I need to do some more studying and then I have work later. Can't say I'm looking forward to it and I just hope we're not short-staffed. Because I've been there for so long, they really do try to dump on me. Once my degree is finished I shall probably move on but I intend to resist working full-time for as long as I can. I think nursing might just kill me off!

Have a lovely day everyone, off to bake some bread. :A xxxx

Frosty here too but I like that. I am working until Friday then I am finished until 2nd Jan. :j I'm beginning to feel run down and I just know that by Christmas Day I will feel terrible. Must do everything I can to avoid that as we are driving up to Scotland and I am cooking Christmas dinner.

((((hugs)))) to those who are poorly, feeling down or coping with bad news.

I have read the thread and cannot remember anything other than ageandjo mentioning the man who lost 30 stone. I watched that too. He looked completely different by the end of the programme.

Oh, and quite of few of you have woken early with lists running through your heads. Can I join that club too please? I remembered at 4.30am that I hadn't asked my Mum to get peas and carrots today when she is out. So now I will have to phone her before I go to w**k.

    Have a wonderful Wednesday. xx

    Morning All

Totally freezing here and I think I have RSI in my left index finger.

Ageandjo & redruby - I'm in Eastbourne too, but haven't yet met Mrs Mix! I feel a mini-meet coming up!!!

Still got loads of work to do. I'm never going to get everything done by Friday. This is a nightmare.

Got to visit a friend after work, then finish putting the decorations up when I get home. Dinner will probably just be pasta.

Managed some more PIN money yesterday owing to some lovely offers in Mr T.

    Hope everyone's ok

    Good orning everyone,

Havnt read the thread yet, so ((HUGS)) to anyone who needs/wants one.

Last nights Christingle service was lovely - both my children had some things to read out and they both did their bits beautifully, very proud and misty eyed!!!

Today i have 2 LOs here, the youngest is his last one before Christmas so we have to finish making his Christmas card for his mum. I also need to make some cakes, as tomorrow is the school Christmas party and they need to take food for it - so will get the other LO to help me, she loves baking!!

Also need to get the stew in the SC, have the chicken carcuss in there at the moment, so should be a lovely tasty stock for the stew, lovely in this weather!!!

Right, need to get ready to walk up the road - hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh, Blairwetch, re ungrateful children - mine have always been told to be grateful for anything they get, even if they dont like/want/already have it - i would be mortified to think they acted like the one you gave your pressie too!!! They def wouldnt keep it for long, and an apology would be necessary!!!

    Hi all

havent read thread yet, but will in a mo

having a rubbish day, lo been up since 4.30 then he wakes up ds1 who is then shouting then he goes lo, ds2 wakes up and ww3 breaks out:mad: start hitting each other, ds2 crying loads and ds1 just laughing at him, what nice kids i have:eek:

every day is like this, i could just about mange with ds1 and his moods, answering back, he is like a teenager at only 9, but i know most of this is caused by his up and down bloods! but to have ds2 being angry too is just getting on top of me.

i have the 3 boys in one bedroom and this is making things loads worse, but not much i can do about that, i burst into tears this morn as they started fighting again as soon as we came downstairs.

sorry for the moan getting all on top of me:confused:

anyway got to take sausages out for tea in a mo and get some bread on, clean up etc

think i'll start going to the gym next year, there is going to be a curves opening up in town so that sounds good, dont know when they open though but saw the advert in asking for people for jobs.

should be payday soon so will go to costco and refill the freezer for xmas, also got to wrap prezzies before kids get off school

dont think i will be posting much, need to get the kids sorted amd stop them scrapping somehow:rolleyes:

    hugs
