Friend should continue to pay the rent in the hope of getting a half decent reference. Friend should find somewhere else to live and make sure that friend pays the rent on time every time regardless of any fraud, bank closures or other dire situations.
Good idea, then she won't have to make one up like she did this time!

Friend has been advised of this numerous times on this thread now, care of the OP. It seems that either Friend is looking for any excuse to fail to pay the rent, or that either Friend or the OP are being extremely slow to grasp a very simple concept which has been explained in almost every post replying.
It’s not our fault that I have mental health and don’t understand some sentences sometimes.

So she should find somewhere else and continue to pay rent is this CORRECT
In which case it would be an excellent idea for your friend to register, and post here herself. The significant risk of a misunderstanding causing her further problems should not be dismissed.

Again though  for the avoidance of doubt -

yes she must continue to pay the rent as agreed.

Could you confirm that the underlined statement above is clear, and that there is nothing there that you do not understand?

A straightforward question deserves a straightforward answer. Yes, you are correct.

I hope both you and your friend are having a good weekend.

Why does she need breathing space if she has regained control of her bank account?

By 'breathing space' what exactly are you meaning ? That she's not going to pay the rent for another 2 months on the suggestion of the agent ?

As per all the previous advice whatever the agent suggests she needs to be impeccable with her future payments otherwise her fate is fairly obvious
