    Ok,

So a bit of an update.

I have left my house and am staying in Essex with family most of the time at the moment. I am going back there periodically, but am only going to actually sleep there 6 or 7 more nights until D-Day on/after the 28th of February.

Thanks everyone. It has been a horrendous time. Roll on 2024 haha.
You will feel so much better once she has gone from the house !
  • This relationship situation is awful and a similar one i found myself in many years ago,  i hope yours goes smoothly now.

    More of an update.

I had arranged a Guarantor for her as well for her next place, but this has now fell through as he isn't comfortable with it anymore.

He wanted to do for a fixed period of say 2 years, he then said it was OK for him to be a guarantor without that stipulation, but he has now changed his mind.

Obviously not ideal for her, but inside I am relieved tbh. He said to me that he wanted me to deal with it if any non-payment issues arose. I didn't really want that worry and stress. It was his choice though.

That is a huge weight and responsibility.

You have done more than enough from what you have stated.

It comes across that you have spoilt her and she does not see herself renting a place by herself.

Maybe the local council can help her but DO NOT be a guarantor as if she unable to pay they will come after you.
