I can see that I am on the V1 Tarriff but there is also a V2 and C3. What is the difference between them?0

Which v1? Does it have a month in the name?Danny30 said:I can see that I am on the V1 Tarriff but there is also a V2 and C3. What is the difference between them?
The different versions have different caps on the unit rate, and I think the original v1 and v2 (no month in the name, just Tracker v1/v2) had lower standing charges too.0 -
It says November 2022 v1Spoonie_Turtle said:

This site is useful. You can pick your own region and then choose the different tracker tariffs to see what the caps and standing charges are. It's also useful for looking at the changing daily charges.Danny30 said:

I m a recent convert and my cap on Tracker is 100 p electric and 30 p gas.
Pretty horrendous prices and I l be squealing to jump off it if the prices approach anything like that.
From what I understand I can keep on Tracker and not lose out if electric rates reach as high as approx 50 p electric with gas up to 16.94 p and be no worse off than the standard EPG rates of 33 p and 10 .24 because the EPG will be deducted .17.9 p electric and 6.7 p gas .2 -
Excuse my basic question, but what are the chances of it hitting a 100p/kwh for electric?0
-
Being as if 100p/kwh product cap was reached, would get reduced by EPG from January 2023 reduction of 31.8p/kWh chances of paying 100p/kwh for electric is probably Zero (0)pearl123 said:Excuse my basic question, but what are the chances of it hitting a 100p/kwh for electric?2 -

Probably due to Tracker product page not being updated to reflect EPG from 1 January 2023 maximum E reduction 31.8p/kWh, post you quoted is not completely correct.vic_sf49 said:SAC2334 said:I m a recent convert and my cap on Tracker is 100 p electric and 30 p gas.

Emailed to request a switch at 2230 last night (Tues), and they sorted it just after noon today (Weds).I switched both fuels, although my main consideration was the price of gas, as solar panels help reduce my electric usage/price risk considerably.Which brings me to a question or two.I read on this thread that the prices are updated at noon. Do your prices actually change at noon, or is that advanced warning of pricing for the next day, so from midnight for 24 hrs.And is this where the prices are updated, or wondering if my app gets a different info box at some point?
