Thanks for reporting the VM issue to YF. I am not sure whether it is Truelayer’s problem, or whether it is YF’s implementation of Truelayer. Hope they get their act together soon!

As to which accounts are considered active by YF remains a mystery to me. I opened 3 current accounts and a savings account yesterday, all at different companies, put some money through all of them, registered with YF. Today, I got 500 points, instead of the desired 1,600…..They are making it very hard for me to qualify for my next £50!

To save anyone trying: whether you add your Halifax accounts via the Halifax or the BOS login and vice versa, YF register them just under the login you used last. So no cunning plan there for some extra points 🤓

I added a credit card from RBS which I only opened on Dec 22, with only 2 transactions so far & the points were added.

I also added Virgin Money & Amex credit cards as well 7 current accounts, with all points for these added.

    Got 5 x 500 points & 4 x 100 points

So possibly got 500 for tesco, and maybe credit card? Still missing a savings account, dunno which one

glad i found this thread, it gave me the push to open another lloyds classic account along side my other club lloyds so i can use it to gain some points then ill use it to play the switch merry go round.

aside from adding accounts, has anybody done any serveys for points? likely alot quicker to just open a load of savers on my lloyds and halifax accounts and add them.

I do the surveys. Takes about 9 months to build up the 5000 points to cash out

Got £150 paid into my bank account this morning after redeeming on Thursday.
I have started to do the surveys to gain extra points in order to get my remaining balance up to 5000.
I find the surveys are long and tedious.

Same here. I also find them a lot more intrusive than having them snoop through my accounts. They ask ever more about your habits and circumstances. You could of course tell them fibs but even that is tedious for 50 points a go.

I’d rather add a few more accounts to make up the missing points.

I’d like to thank Band7 & Bridlington1 for bringing this free money opportunity to the notice of forumites.

I’ve registered a number of accounts but 3 don’t appear to have generated a points credit. I suspect these are joint accounts. I’ve tried to see if joint accounts are excluded but not found any information. Could anyone on the forum confirm if they’ve received credit for a joint account? Many thanks in advance for responses
