Anyone had success to add a TSB account? Always end up in error for me in multiple attempts.0

After multiple attempts turned out did get added despite error messagesqsk said:Anyone had success to add a TSB account? Always end up in error for me in multiple attempts.1 -
Does all this opening bank accounts to get 50 points have a negative effect on switching for much larger rewards
Surely the more bank accounts you have the less there are to switch to ?0 -
Think you are confusing opening a bank account (not usually rewarded) with switching from one account to another (with reward). Switch rewards are not generally dependent on opening a new account.MikeJXE said:Does all this opening bank accounts to get 50 points have a negative effect on switching for much larger rewards

Current accounts often (but not always) require a hard credit search, which can impact your ability to get credit in the short term. Savings accounts have no impact, as they usually don't need a hard search. Many switch offers are also available to existing customers anyway, so opening new accounts won't really stop you from getting incentives down the line.MikeJXE said:Does all this opening bank accounts to get 50 points have a negative effect on switching for much larger rewards

£150 to be redeemed.2 -
So what you're saying is if I have bank accounts A B C D I can switch A to B and C to D and get 2 rewards, that to get the reward you can switch an account you have to another account you have ?flaneurs_lobster said:

I have 3 bank accounts my main one I won't switch and 2 others I opened that I switched 2 dummy accounts to and claimed 2 rewards.
My main account is Santander, if they offer a reward can I also switch one of the other accounts to them and claim the reward ?0 -
The answer is yes, and I am living proof of this. They did a switching incentive in August and I was able to open a second Lloyds account and switch it to Santander to get the incentive. Though I did need to go into branch for this. Most of the switching incentives I've had, i.e. RBS, Halifax, Lloyds, Nationwide, Santander,..., I've got whilst being an existing customer.MikeJXE said:

The only exception to the rule so far has been Virgin Money and Co-op bank.1
