@Tiggermad Your cards are lovely - especially like the wording on the first card
@greentiger Well done on all your April makes. I ❤️ your crochet jumpers - one day I'd like to try making one. The fabric you've used for the gift bags and cat carrier cover are beautiful.
How did you manage to post all your photos that way? Much better than posting huge the single photos. I think it would be beyond me 🤔Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

@tiggermad love the cards.
Congrats on all your makes @greentiger they are beautiful and I love the cat carrier! Also the gift bags.
Funnily enough I had an email from HobbyCraft today about crafts to make with a sewing machine because I think their bots were watching when I was looking up bits to teach Holly (my 12 year old daughter) as she has recently started Textile lessons and is learning to make a bucket hat. I think maybe bunting for her bedroom might be her next project but the email form Hobbycraft had a lot of things to make in under 30 minutes - things like fabric storage boxes etc which got me thinking about my material stash that I have been neglecting for a while.
I actually sat and did some crafting yesterday - my cousins birthday is on the 6th so I decided to make a card for her but yesterday was my first day unmedicated for depression and boy did it knock me sideways (Im not optionally med free - the doctors are useless here since 3 surgeries merged so getting meds is proving difficult) but Im meant to be weaning off anyway so I have decided to just wait for the perscription and keep it in the cupboard incase I need it - I only use it for social anxiety but felt so much better not having it yesterday.
Anyway I digress….
So I sat down yesterday and drew a card by hand for her. I think it has turned out ok but at least its the thought that counts. I used some little gems that my grandmother gave me when she cleared out her stash and then made sure I went over with a rubber afterwards to erase any guide lines. I quie enjoyed it but I think I need a bit more practice. I still have the macrame things to try and I will try to get round to knitting and crocheting again at some point! Crochet just seems to confuse my brain.
I also painted a suncatcher that came with my HobbyCraft order from Christmas. Im not sure where I will hang it yet but its a geometric heart that I have coloured in pink, purple and white. I may hang it in my front doors window or the landing window but we will see.
Hope everyone is having a good day.

@sammy_kaye18, the card is gorgeous!
Couple of makes (finally!) - finished a purple top and made a pair of leggings for Whitby. The leggings were too short for some reason, so more like pedal pushers, but they fit and I finished them so it counts!
Busy crocheting the Coronation blanket atm

I cant edit my entry now that the format has been changed. I only seem to have the option to delete it or save it. 🤷♀️craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Although I did see some lovely crafts the other day with small blocks of wood and making them into things so they are one of my next things to consider and make! Doh!
No crafting here today although Cousin received her card but hasnt opened it yet and wont until her birthday. I have been busy cleaning.
Very strange that coming off of antidepressants has made me feel better, have more energy and enthusiasm to do things - plus I have been out more in the 3 days I havent taken them than the 3 years I was on them!
Anyway - I digress!
I went through some old clothes for charity earlier and have found some old fake denim jeans that I am considering cutting up to make something with, plus an old jumper of Hollys that is a pale pink with a really pretty sequin Christmas bauble scene on the front which I think I might turn into a small pillow as it holds memories and its really pretty too.
I am also thinking about cutting up some old material to make into laundry bags for the kids to try and give them incentive to actually be responsible for bringing their own laundry down - youd think they could do this since they are 18 and 12 but clearly not the case.Time to find me again5 -

I love the colour purple.
Are you crocheting a whole blanket or a square to be added to a blanket?
