@pennib - your scrapbook is amazing. Like @Soontobeoap I've no idea how you made it from loo rolls. Well done on the recycling 🙂

Love the piggy cushion, I used to have 2 and loved the noises they used to make.
Beautiful mini album pennib
I've made quite a few albums etc, and would second starting with a spiral bound style book/ album and then adding to the pages5 -
Hi, I've just sewn the buttons on the hoodie for grandson who's 1 next month. Although the yarn is 25% wool it looks very summery as it has a white fleck ( not very noticeable on the photo). I've bought more of the same wool to knit granddaughter one as well. I have a hoodie pattern with lace borders and cables that I will use.
Just waiting for my other grandkids to arrive for lunch. I've been preparing all morning - they're like a bunch of gannets but I ❤️ seeing them devouring all my baking 🤣🤣🤣xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Thanks, @plumduff55 and @Soontobeoap.
Oh, @florenceem, my heart goes out to you. Take care.
I agree with @Soontobeoap, @plumduff55, about adding extra rounds to even up your squares. You must be doing that anyway, for the shorter montns. So. use a neutral colour, e.g. black and add at least one extra round on the 31 day months too. It will be a bit like sashing on a quilt. BTW, I hate blocking! You’ll have fun making the guinea pig cushion for your granddaughter, I’m sure. Oh my, I’ve just seen it ! It’s wonderful! I like your colour choices for your temperature blanket; you can already see the changing weather trends. Your baby quilt turned out really well. I do like the edging on your dishcloth and I love the wee hoodie.
Wise decision. @sammy_kaye18, to make a ‘prototype’ bear. I don’t have penpals but I do Postcrossing and I will be writing 4 cards tomorrow; decoration is limited on a postcard – tends to be limited to the number and choice of postage stamps, washi tape and stickers and the occasional mini photograph if it’s a maxi card. I do get spells where I just cannot get going, then suddenly – I snap out of it and get going again. Well, I see you’re back in the groove! Is there nothing you cannot turn your hand to? I hope you’re feeling better.
Hello, @ponypal, nice to meet you. I’m looking forward to seeing what you’re up to.
@Soontobeoap, that’s a very pretty peg bag. Good luck with the pelmet.
For someone in a slump, @emsi_b, you’ve managed to get quite a few things going! Well done. You can tell it’s late because I just read that total as 45,200! Now that would be impressive!
@pennib, I’m sure your brain will have kicked in and come up with a few ideas for your wool. Your scrapbook is so pretty, I cannot believe it’s made from toilet rolls! Well, I can, but you know what I mean ….
That’s not a handful of scrunchies, @Stashbuster, it’s an armful! And they look great. What a cute little dress!
It’s good to hear from you, @RavenRover.
@old_fogey, don’t kid yourself that you’ve not done much – a card, mending, plants and painting Is a LOT!
I agree that men’s cards are hard, @Tiggermad. Add in that my son-in-law does not drink any kind of alcohol …. I think those 4 cards are all suitable for men, by the way.
That’s April over now.
As for me, I have finally started on the cover for the cat carrier – well, I’ve cut it out …
I had been getting on quite well this month, but it’s not so much a slump that’s holding me back, as life getting in the way, so I’m quite happy with what I’ve done
· 4 Easter cards, grandson’s birthday card (it’s white, not pink, lol + 2 more, daughter-in-law's birthday card + 1 more, and 5 Christmas cards
· 4 Bunny treat bags
· 2 gift bags
· ‘mattress’ and cover for cat carrier - I did buy the blue fabric for the cover; there was not enough of the navy left over from making stadium seats, but I did have plastic for the window.
· 2 bobtail jumpers (1-2yrs & 2 -3 yrs)
In May I plan to
· Crochet another bobtail jumper (3-4yrs) - still not denting my stash!
· Crochet a scrapghan (afghan blanket from scrap wooll, of which i have loads!)
· Some of my ‘forgotten’ tapestry
· 5 Christmas cards
· get back to work on small library quilt hanging
Wishing you all nimble fingers - and the time to craft.
