2023 - No Craft Spending - I WILL bust my stash and make pretty things!!!!!

Good morning , it's a beautiful sunny morning - it's amazing how cheerful the sun make you ☀️. I'm meeting my friend in town for coffee this morning then some shopping for mum and a visit to see her this afternoon. So a busy day for me.
I've finished the cot quilt and am very happy with it. It was all done from my stash although I had to get a bit inventive so I wouldn't buy anything.
The top was a 4 fat quarter bundle and some dark pink leftover fabric.
The blue binding was cut from a 30 year old sheet I had when my sons were small.
The wadding was 3 scrap pieces joined together - luckily they were all the same type of wadding.
The backing fabric was a pale pink circular cotton table cloth I hadn't used in years.I would have preferred dark pink binding but didn't have enough fabric - I think the turquoise works. I really enjoyed doing it as I wasn't having to rush.
@greentiger The crochet jumper is great - one day I'm going to try that
@Soontobeoap I hope you get over Covid quickly and it doesn't linger - the snow suit looks so cosy
@Florenceem You're cards are beautiful - I especially like the hot air balloon - it has a 3D effect

@plumduff55 your quilt is absolutely beautiful. It looks like the pieces were quite small and fiddly too. That will become an heirloom surely. All from stash iis amazing too. The lucky Mum and baby will be over the moon. I really love it.
