@Soontobeoap totally agree about this wonderful forum. It has really given me my crafting mojo back, which has been missing for years. I am really looking forward to getting on with my projects now, and I am also happily letting go of things I know I will not use. I cleared a lot of papercraft stuff out for the charity shop yesterday. (I still have a lot though!)2025 craft items finished 11/12

@old_fogey - well done on making your foot pedal bag. I really need to make one for mine as my sewing machine lives under my craft desk and chances are Ill lose bits if they are just left about.
@Florenceem - love the material. I have a stash of material so I think maybe a sewing machine cover may be in order soon.
@Stashbuster - the patchwork clothing sounds a great way to use up fabric.
@plumduff55 - Im glad to hear that your massage has worked some magic for you and that you managed to relax enough for a good nap. Love the little cardy.
@Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine - maybe you can advertise some on your facebook page etc. Id definitely be interested in having a look - always looking for more craft bits!
@soontobeoap - our garden is going to start taking up some more time soon. I havent got a single thing planted and the cover is still not on the greenhouse because it has been raining sideways here and Storm Mathis was just a no go for me trying to wrangle a greenhouse cover but this week is meant to be drier so I can crack on. I had 6 pots of pansies delivered yesterday and did plan to sort the tubs for the front door today but I wasnt feeling 100% so I will get them done tomorrow and may put the greenhouse cover on and get things moved in ready to start planting. Well done on the batch cooking to get yourself ahead.
No crafting done here at the minute, have been busy looking into bits for the garden for summer.
Need to get some new garden furniture because our chairs broke so we have no where to sit now, also need to get some bark to go around the greenhouse, and a new parasol and stand because there is no way I can sit out in hot weather without burning like a crisp.
Just need to figure out how to make some shade in the garden for the dogs as well.Time to find me again8 -
I've had a couple of spends this week- some card that is being discontinued, and an eyelet/snap punch thingymajig. It isn't the most amazing bit of kit in the world, but I have often thought an eyelet would help on something- and for £3.99 it's worth it! The snaps bit didn't work very well, so will either need to try again or rehome the snaps. Or use a Hammer perhaps for those 😂
I've no makes to report- I've been spring cleaning and reading lots of my birthday pile of books (just finished a Francis Pryor book about Stonehenge, think he's wonderful!). I do need to make a birthday card soon, so will look at getting that made ready this week. I also have my cross stitch to work on- would be nice to have that done by the end of the Easter hols.Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Sammy Kaye how about those sail type things for shade for your dogs in the garden. Even better, my neighbour pegs a sheet on his washing line and then the fence, just as effective though perhaps not as pretty.
I have stalled massively. I have finished renovating the rocking chair and tall boy for future Grand child's bedroom. We have now finished emptying MIL's bungalow and I am enjoying a rest and a tidy house. Saying that our plumber starts on our new bathroom tomorrow.
I will try to post a pic of the furniture.

Sadly the chair was not in good enough condition to strip it back to blonde wood.:6

Also slightly annoyed. I ordered a greenhouse replacement cover and went to put it on today after Id planted some flowers with my daughter only to find they had sent the wrong size ( I need a walk in one and they sent one of the smaller ones ) and do you think I can find where I ordered it from or the receipt online - can I chuff so looks like Im stuck with it - but I have just found another greenhouse on offer for £40 with the cover so Im hoping I can get that , use the cover on my reinforced frame etc and then MacGyver the unused frame to build the smaller greenhouse so I can have one for starting seeds and the bigger house for growing in. Silver lining to all of it and it will all get used - just may have to hold off on planting for a little bit.
No crafting to report as such today unless you include drilling holes in pots, filling with a stone and old polystyrene, then filling with compost and planting 6 pansys :-) they looked a little worse for wear when they were delivered so I am hoping they will perk up a bit now they are back outside and have had a good drink and some sunshine.

@vulpix - they are so pretty! I love the pale blue colour too.
@Florenceem - we seem to have those months as well - mainly March for me but November I have 3 birthdays on the same day!
Well I have planted the pansies on today, not done much crafting but there is plenty of time seeing as my daughter is now home for 2 weeks and will no doubt get bored within the first five minutes and Ill need to entertain her. Although she has just gone to bed early after complaining of a bit of an upset stomach so who knows. She wants to go on a bike ride tomorrow but we will see as I'm sure she mentioned going out with her friend (confused but oh well) Husband is away tomorrow night too so I have the house to myself and peace and quiet so I may get up to some crafting.
