Plumduff so glad you had what sounds like a great therapeutic massage. (There's therapeutic massage and relaxing spa type massage.) Please make sure you drink plenty water, the waste products that have been stored in your muscles are now swilling about so plenty fluid helps to flush them out your system. My analogy to owners to help them understand what their dog might be feeling was to think of a wild pond, looks beautifully crystal clear then someone stirs it up with a stick. All the mud is now out in the water and needs flushed out.
Sometimes after a massage the day or two later you will get delayed onset muscles soreness, the same feeling as you get after a new exercise class or first day of gardening. Its exactly the same as if you had been moving your muscles, just that the therapist has been moving them for you. It will pass in exactly same way.

sammykaye its a monthly group, the hearts and flowers was for a challenge they do each year and all the blocks get judged then made into a quilt if you don't want your block back. The other one was again to be made into a quilt, for a specific fundraising quilt for the local stroke unit. We get a talk or someone shows us a technique at each meeting which can be good, we were felting a xmas bauble the other month. I hadn't felted like that before so that was good. Plus they have a library of craft books which is a really useful resource

Soontobeoap - Yes the pincushion is a tiny dressmakers dummy shape sitting on a candle stick. I use a different pincushion when working at my sewing machine.
Photo of pincushion and a thread catcher + I made a bag to hold my sewing clips.

Good to know @Florenceem and @Stashbuster. We've sold in person before but not in this new area. Not sure we have any time prewedding though 🫣3

One large bag of off cuts delivered to a friend who makes quilts for charity, and three more rehomed via the neighbourhood Facebook group.
I’ve cut out a bunch of fabrics ready for sewing and I have a few others I’ve kept that need cutting too - now when i have a little time to myself I won’t spend the majority of it having to prep the fabric 🤣

Hi, really feeling the benefits of my massage yesterday. I feel my shoulders are much looser and my friend who visited today could see that my shoulders are much more relaxed. That's me converted and I will certainly treat my shoulders to more massages in the future. @daisy_1571 Thanks for the massage advice 😀
I finished the cardigan for dgd and I must say I'm not very happy with it. The acrylic wool feels quite hard and the neck is very wide. It is the style but I'm not keen on it. My friend says I'm too much of a perfectionist and that my dgd will love it. I suppose as she's only 3 she won't notice 🤞
Tonight I started knitting a blue/white aran cable hoodie for dgs who is 1 in May. I'll probably knit his sister a matching jacket in pink.
Happy crafting xx

I had a £5 craft month voucher sent to me from HobbyCraft so today I got a pack of 50 6 inch square cards and envelopes for 50p.
Also spent £3.95 on postage for the members free gift from HunkyDory.
I received a package today - some wired ombre ribbon - think I will order some other colours.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Happy April everyone. DH seems to have jumped onto the more frugal wagon! His dog walking coat was literally falling apart and I suggested it was time for a new one! He however decided he would carry on wearing it with the lining hanging out of the sleeve and pocket!! I couldnt allow this to happen so have just spent nearly 2 hours sewing up all of the seams with back stitch to make sure they are all secure. I wouldnt mind but we dont even have a dog🐕. He walks the neighbours 😂
I am so excited about all of the projects that I am getting on with this year. I wouldnt normally do this many in a year and its all thanks to this forum. I am crocheting a baby snow suit at the moment. Hoping to finish it in the next couple of days.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,
