@florenceem, more lovely cards! I thought the same as Stbo about a quilted balloon. Go to it, @daisy_1571!
@Soontobeoap, I’m so sorry to hear you have covid now. Just take it easy, as much as you can. I like your plant markers; you keep coming up with new ideas. Well done, on getting your stash organised/culled; it’s a tough job.
How on earth do you find the time, @cupcakecraftscuddlycanine, to be so creative when you have a wedding on the horizon. Even if most of your output is wedding related, it is highly original and brain/labour intensive, Your Easter card is cute, btw,
Your baby quilt is lovely, @plumduff55. I do like the turquoise binding. I’ve joined wadding pieces for quilts on more than one occasion, using a machine zigzag stitch. It’s not bother and it does not affect the finish. I don’t know how you are doing your temperature blanket (if you already said, I’ve forgotten). I did one some years ago, just noon temperature, a row a day in a chevron pattern – 365 rows makes for a long blanket. Lol.
@Tiggermad, I really like the colours of those papers on your cards, especially the first ones.
Oh, @Florenceem, I’m sorry to hear about MrF’s struggles. I know it’s difficult, but try to remember to take care of yourself too.
You might have been away from the forum for a while, @Katiehound, but you’ve certainly not been idle!
I bet your small person will be dlighted with the dungarees, @Stashbuster. And well done for having the strength to part with some of your stash.
So far this month, I’ve sewn 4 bunny trat bags, finished the lemon & grey jumper and made 4 Easter cards, 2 birthday cards and 3 extra cards. I’m happy with that.

I dug out my tapestry- now that the light is better I hope to be motivated to get on with it. I don't think I did any last year at all! This is where it's at.

@plumduff55, this is my temperature blanket. If you're very sharp eyed you'll see it was not the warmest year, with the highest temps on 2 days being 22C and 23C. To be fair, it wasn't the coldest year either. I've put a pic of my working chart too, and you'll see I'd hoped/planned for a wider range of temperatures. I came across a similiar idea recently, but it was for recording books read, so I'll maybe try that some day.....Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/4010

@greentiger Your temperature blanket is gorgeous - I love the way the colours flow. Mine's is monthly crochet squares and I'm running into a problem already. As I'm using dk yarn from my stash some of the wools are a different texture and my first 2 squares are different sizes although both have 31 rounds. Not sure whether to add another round to the smaller one or block ( as you do with knitting). I'll post pics when I finish the March square and hopefully someone will help me. I'm not great at crochet.
Happy crafting xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

@greentiger it sounds like you have been very busy. Love your temperature blanket. I had never heard of them until I joined this forum but they have obviously been around for quite a while. Your tapestry looks lovely too. I do like a long term project that I can sit down with in the evening and do in front of the television.
@plumduff55 I think that you will be better off adding an extra row to your smaller square and starting off with them all the same size. If blocked and sewn together I think the square will shrink back and pull the whole blanket out of shape.
When I was, sorting craft hut I found so much fabric so I am back on Christmas. Hoping to start a few gifts this week. The sewing machine is going to make an appearance if we get the rainy days that are forcast.
HAPPY CRAFTING EVERYONE.

Hello all
Still here and muddling along in the background.
No makes to post - unless erecting a greenhouse and modifying another one count as I used the few sunny days to get in the garden but Im aware that next week we have some good weather coming so I may get to sit out in the garden and do some crafting of a sort.
I have realised though that whilst I was adjusting the old greenhouse frame to fit the other cover (the one that was sent in error) I now have lots of pipes/fittings that I no longer need to I am planning to make myself a little box frame so I can use it to hang my macrame string from to make crafting with that easier. I am hoping to start on a bag soon.
I also have 8 penpal letters to write and decorate so I had better get onto that sooner rather than later too.
I also found a pattern for a make a bear pattern so I want to start trying to make up one of those with an old sheet to see if I can do it before I attempt with the material I have planned for it because I literally have one piece of the material being that its a sentimental item and an off cut for the added inserts!

I would love to join! I have bought some arts and crafts stuff this year so far but would like to record finished projects and incoming stuff going forward because I have a lot of kits to use up!8

Right
I will do some sort of crafting today.
I dont know what but I have stalled on the crafting, stalled on the gardening, housework - the lot.
So I need to make a list of things to get done and crack on with something.
Anyone else stalled or hit a slump? I just cant seem to get motivated! I've no birthdays for a while but I do have my dads birthday meal coming this weekend since he is going to be away on Safari for his actual birthday so will have to get around to making a card for him at some point.

Welcome @ponypal I would love to see your makes. Lots of lovely ideas on here. Enjoy
@sammy_kaye18, yes I have hit a slump. So much to to in garden. Weather has stopped that. Also crafting seems to have hit a slump since I finished Christmas 2 weeks ago! 🤣. We have had covid. DH is still testing positive and energy is lacking in both of us still. We are 14 days on from the start! Think the wheels have come off a bit!
I am cutting out a pelmet for our bedroom window today so I do hope to have something to show soon.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,
