Thats a lovely hat @old_fogey. Complicated pattern to start with. Well done.
My first project finished for 2023.DH gave me this rug hook cushion for Christmas. I have really enjoyed working on it in front of the tele in the evenings. I have another one that is a different pattern to make up too. We are saving to get wood chip off walls and ceiling, new fire fitted rewired, new flooring and furniture. (last room of renovation), So cushion will get put away until we are ready. Have been into craft shed todsy looking for next project. @old_fogey
The hat looks so warm and cosey. Knitting will be one of my things to attempt this year since I have a bag of wool to use that a friend gifted me.Time to find me again5 -

Me and husband are hoping to save up for a van to go on day trips with and Im wanting to get little bits done around the house so anything that distracts me from having / needing or wanting to spend money is ideal.

Lovely hat @old_fogey - it's a beautiful colour and I like the cable pattern. @Soontobeoap your rug is also beautiful. Ive never tried anything like this, it looks great.
My first project of the year finished. It's a bit of fun for a very lively soon-to-be 3 year old. Happy crafting xx

@old_fogey that is brilliant! I have never tried cable....but maybe I will now I've seen this!
@Soontobeoap that is gorgeous! Was it difficult to do?
@plumduff55 that is adorable!
I really must pull my finger out and do something!!!

Love the cardigan @plumduff. So pretty.
@CMD9 cushion was easy to do. Remembering where you are on chart when you come back to it is the hardest bit. Kit was under £20 and it has kept me busy for 2 weeks as well as becoming a new soft furnishing. Win win. My other one is similar colours. Just need to be able to afford the sofas! 😂craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Wow, super cardigan @plumduff55, you will be very busy with the baby bootees and quilt.
@Soontobeoap that cushion looks super cosy and cuddly, I have never tried rug hooking.
@sammy_kaye18 your Robins are just adorable. I used to do a lot of cross stitching, and hope to restart again this year. Seeing yours has reminded me how lovely it is.2025 craft items finished 11/12

CMD79 said:Oh, I have had to delete my reply as I remembered the point of this thread! I obviously don’t need a new hobby before I’ve started even one of my existing projects!!
I was looking at a few bits on Hobbycraft last night that would be practical for me with my crafts and I have a gift card to use - like a little desk bin when I am weeding cricut things, a guillotine that will help with card making.....etc
and before I knew it I was lost in Macrame kits (never done it) and blanks to try my pyrography kit with and blanks to print my cricut stuff on too!
Going to avoid HC website for a while though as I have plenty to be focusing on!Time to find me again7
