pictures arnt too good and the quilters amongst you could do a lot better but I am so excited, I have made this quilt in 4 days for youngest grandaughter (2) using my stash. I have had the snakes and ladders panel since 11 year old Grandson was born, i bought a duvet set about 6 years ago in a charity shop. It was about £1.00 and still in its new wrapping. The little rascal, stars and car are from that. The other fabrics were in my stash and I have used a light cot quilt that has been used about 3 times when Grandkids came to stay before I decided that they needed warmer ones! I have 2 more to make before we go to my sons on 25th November so will be looking for other quick ways to put them together. I bought a green flowery quilt to make middle granddaughter her quilt and used the backing of that one for this. Whole thing made for free! Cant be bad. The 2 older girls asked for one and I couldnt leave her out. 😍. I am going to try and incorporate at least one fabric in all 3 quilts so that they are connected always.

@Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine so, so sorry to hear of your flooding. Hope insurance sorts you out quickly and it isn't too long until you're back home. Definitely do lots of crafting of an evening, it will help keep your mind off things if nothing else x
Ellie, I'd definitely recommend a trip to your local library and having a look for crochet books- I've bought my mum loads of "use up your scraps" or "quick projects" books over the years for crochet- no idea if they are all useful or not, so borrowing them will help you find that out! There was definitely a mug cosy type pattern in one of them. I'm back as a big library fan now that my son has decided he wants to read for himself of an evening and we can't keep up with all the books he's reading- there's even apps so that you can request books from other libraries from the comfort of your own sofa!!!
I haven't done masses- 10 cards to report and a small mountain of half made cards still to go. I've got the magnetic tape for the blind, but still need a dowel. Once i've got that, then I will crack on.
My craft room has become the dumping ground as our building work has started, so I really do need to get a wiggle on and rehome some things and make sure I finally clear the desk!!!
And my last craft fair went quite well- I do love that one anyway as it's at my village hall so I get to see everyone and have a chin wag! We're still quite new to the area so still getting to know everyone, so any chance for a chat helps. I have another one this weekend at a neighbouring village pub (oh dear!). It's even longer and cheaper table hire, so fingers crossed for a very good day.Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Hi, this morning I finished sewing 3 crossbody bags for Xmas presents. They are in upholstery fabric and it was awful to work with. Very dense and frayed a lot. Two of the bags have adjustable webbing straps and the other has a fabric strap. I'm so glad that's them finished - I have fabric to make another couple but it's too much hassle. Last year I made tote bags with the same fabrics and they were fine as there wasn't so much detail in them. I might just make another couple of them.
My next project will be toilet bags in the red lippy fabric. I also have 2 quilts that still have to be finished. I keep putting them off 😳. I must stop procrastinating.
Happy crafting xx

@oldfogey I have watched Jordan Fabrics and the other one I watch is Missouri Star and random ones when I input a particular query. My top tips that I learnt through many frustrating, tear my hair out times is measure at every stage and use pins to hold the fabric together and endeavour to keep all my seams at ¼”. My mum too had many orphan blocks and applique leaves, I have used some up, but I still have more to go.
@Sammy_kay18 the cushions are gifts for Christmas.
@plumduff55 Christmas cake looks delicious. My favourite, particularly with almond icing on top. Well done on purchasing only what you required, love your will power. The cardigan is so cute, and your knitting is so neat. Your crossbody bags are fab, but if the fabric was difficult to use, I would have stopped at one.
@Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine So sorry to hear you were flooded out, hopefully insurance will pay out quickly.
@Soontobeoap What a unique quilt for your GD and a great way to use up fabric. Looking forward to seeing the other two you are going to make.
I have made a complete set of matching place mats, coasters, bunting and table runner for my DD for Christmas. I also made her 2 cushions for Halloween.
The cream and purple cushions are for a friend for Christmas, but I need to make two more, she has changed her décor this year to creams and mauves.
I spent a lot of time and effort sorting my fabric from 5 large storage boxes into a cupboard. Now I have them neatly stacked I can see what I have in different colours, making life easier, instead of forever rummaging around in boxes.
In sorting my craft room, I have 3 cross-stich sets that I bought many years ago that I will never use. I would like to give them to someone who would use them. The sets are Dimensions: Gift bearing teddy stocking, DMC: k1234 What's in the box and K4911 Little Suzy's Boof Dancing. If anyone is interested, please PM me.

@plumduff your bags are lovely. It takes so long when you get a fabric that is horrible to work with. I would make the rest into tote bags too if they are easier.
@Pink12345 your christmas runner is particularly beautiful. Is that hand appliqued or did you do it on the machine?
Not a very clear photo but I am busy hand appliqueing daisy squares using my stash and a flat white sheet. These are for 2nd quilt of 3. I have also completed 10 more cross stitch cards for upcoming craft fair.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,
