Sort off. I've got to the giving up stage but I'll have to finish everything on Wednesday when I'm off. My 1% for savings is only £10 so I've managed it via cash backs and round ups.Highlanddream said:

Still impressive, I am desperately trying not to overspend on food and alcohol. I am finding it really hard.

Food is impossible. When I was first in debt I set us a food budget of 100-120 per week, now I'm having to try really hard to keep it under 200 by the time I've bought food and school dinners. It's an absolute nightmare.Highlanddream said:Still impressive, I am desperately trying not to overspend on food and alcohol. I am finding it really hard.

Primary school is £2.90 a day..one child has them other one hates them so has a packed lunch. Highschool you pay for what you buy as opposed to a set price. Eldest eats his packed lunch at break and then buys something at dinner. He starts at 8.30 and dinner isn't till about half one so they are all starving by then. He normally spends 1.50 sometimes 2 pounds. But I think the kids who rely on it as their dinner are allowed to spend up to a fiver a day.eek.Highlanddream said:How much do school dinners cost now?Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213
