Woo hoo, brilliant news you are doing really well so soon after Christmas. I have my MOT & service due next month so and holding off paying any extra to stash cash for that. I will be really slow until the end of next month.ThriftyPrincess40 said:Paid £50.04 today I’m getting close to 4% 😍Sept 24 : £32000 Sep 25 - £10356 Feb 26 - £7545

I have had it renewed twice since my initial 6 months contract but there are a lot of changes going on and new systems being brought in at the moment so I'm not completely sure this time. I'm trying to be aware of it but not worry. (Damp should be dmp btw. Whoops). The dmp debts cant take what I don't have and neither can the universal credit one. If I just have those left by march then it's a win I suppose. It's a big ask as the kids b days are all in the first few months but I'll see.Highlanddream said:
Sounds like a good plan, always makes things feel more positiveNeverendingDMP said:So my 1% for debts is £55. Ive paid some off today so it's not likely to change much more this month. My fixed term at work ends in March but if that's renewed the plan is to pay off everything except the old damp debts this year then save a settlement fund for those with a view to finally clearing them in 2027!
DH still has debts being paid from our account but he's not interested in them so I'm aiming for mine to feel like I've achieved something 😂

Car expenses are a killer! I’ve until June to prep for mine. I couldn’t afford Christmas so didn’t celebrate, no money to spend but I’m lucky with understanding family and friends thank goodness 💕Highlanddream said:

Unfortunately maxed out on credit so no BT or loans available x had to max out due to ex hubs delays and behaviour in family courts costing me more with solicitors and his debts he gave me no choice to take. I don’t get legal aid due to wanting to work 🙄 it’s a never ending nightmare!Highlanddream said:ThriftyPrincess40 said:

Ohhh, it sounds horrendous, I do feel for you. Fingers crossed you can get some of these paid off sharpish. I think once one has gone it seems so much more positive and possible to achieve. xThriftyPrincess40 said:
