Well done @craftingmad, you are doing brilliantly, you will smash £10K, looking forward to your next goal for you, lol. x. 88.53 % amazing stuff.craftingmad said:You are all doing so well. We got our confirmation letter through yesterday that we have fully paid off out BTL1 mortgage so cannot wait to get this BTL2 mortgage paid off and receive another letter like that
I can report I have added the following into our OP savings pot since my last post:-
£ 284.52 interest from one savings account
£ 397.43 wages from BK
£ 1000.00 gift from mum and dad for our anniversary and paying back money owed
________
£ 1681.95
So my total now currently stands at £72329.43/£81700 = 88.53%
Moving closer and now less than £10K to go
Our next goal will be our BTL3 mortgage but first to find that pesky last £10k to pay off this BTL2

Brilliant news and I'm sure you will have enough saved to get that second letter by the end of the year! Progress at my end has slowed down. It's been an expensive month and there seems to have been more month than money and kids costs that cropped up. I've got my mot this week and the money I had saved is hopefully enough- preferably more than enough so I use it to avoid going overdrawn in my general account. I'll know soon enough 😂craftingmad said:You are all doing so well. I hate months like that - kids and cars sure seem to be a sucker of savings
My car has developed a fault today but it seems to have cleared itself for now so fingers crossed it was just an electrical blip.
Good luck with the MOT x
