well done @craftingmad and @NeverendingDMP . I was hoping to add some extra during the month but it's going to an unexpected bill, at least I have made some money to cover it, on a positive note, lol. Looking forward to pay day to get another 1000 down ,love looking at the figures then
.
I will have paid off £20000 since last Sept / Oct, no wonder I am broke!
Sept 24 : £32000 Aug catch up - £11436
May 25 : £14000 Sept 25 - £10635
June 25 : £13000 Sep catch up - £10356
July 25 : £12000 Oct 25 - £9569
Aug 25 : £118801 -
That is fantastic progress Neverending - especially with everything you have going on at the moment xNeverendingDMP said:Thought I'd do a count up. I'm at 36% paid. U credit and two defaulted c cards left in my name. U credit haven't asked for the money back yet but I've included it in my total ready for it. Next step is to save the equivalent of the u credit so it's debt neutral ready for when the letter drops 😂
Sounds like a great plan to try and be debt neutral ready for when U credit contact you. I have no doubt you will achieve it xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

Don't you just hate unexpected bills! It is always lovely though knowing that you have the money there when they do happen though xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.021 -
You are all doing so well. We got our confirmation letter through yesterday that we have fully paid off out BTL1 mortgage so cannot wait to get this BTL2 mortgage paid off and receive another letter like that
I can report I have added the following into our OP savings pot since my last post:-
£ 284.52 interest from one savings account
£ 397.43 wages from BK
£ 1000.00 gift from mum and dad for our anniversary and paying back money owed
________
£ 1681.95
So my total now currently stands at £72329.43/£81700 = 88.53%
Moving closer and now less than £10K to go

Brilliant news and I'm sure you will have enough saved to get that second letter by the end of the year! Progress at my end has slowed down. It's been an expensive month and there seems to have been more month than money and kids costs that cropped up. I've got my mot this week and the money I had saved is hopefully enough- preferably more than enough so I use it to avoid going overdrawn in my general account. I'll know soon enough 😂craftingmad said:You are all doing so well. I hate months like that - kids and cars sure seem to be a sucker of savings
My car has developed a fault today but it seems to have cleared itself for now so fingers crossed it was just an electrical blip.
Good luck with the MOT xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
It's payday on one of my cafe jobs today
Sadly I had a day off this week so not as much as usual and the new owners have stopped paying me holiday pay so I need to take that up with them but in the meantime I have added £201.46 into the OP savings pot so every penny helps
So my total now currently stands at £72530.89/£81700 = 88.77%
That takes me a little closer to my next full percent
