I started a side hussle, buying and reselling second hand stuff which is taking over! It feels like it is really slow going, will be slower over the summer as I probably won't spend so much time in front of the laptop in nice weather.craftingmad said:

LOL, well done for being back in the challengeNeverendingDMP said:Well folks DH is back in work and for now at least my debts are going downwards again. (They increased whilst he was on SSP). I've looked back to the beginning of this thread when I've declared that debts in my name were 8090. That puts me at 14% paid off at present from the start of the thread. My 1% is 80.90. I'm back in the challenge ha ha !
it is hard work to keep going. I am thinking about easing off over Christmas to enjoy a few treats, but maybe I should wait before making any decisions like that!

Slow and steady wins the race. I'm always amazed hoe much the little amounts really add up too.NeverendingDMP said:

Morning all,
Its hubby's payday today and we got a nice little extra amount in OT this month as they forgot to pay him it last month so we have received two months worth today so I have transferred £2k into the OP savings account.
It is also interest day on one of our savings accounts so that has added a further £299.45 which I love as it is basically money I have had to do nothing to get
My total now currently stands at £63256.15/£81700 = 77.42%
Wahoo we are over three quarters of the way to be being able to pay off BTL number 2
Sadly our interest amounts will drop considerably next month as we will be using £32K of the money saved to pay off BTL1 when the fixed rate expires but hey ho - we won't be paying interest on one mortgage so its still a win win situation

What good progress and how exciting to be able to hand the money over to pay off BTL one. You will officially completely own not one but two houses !!craftingmad said:Morning all,
