What good progress and how exciting to be able to hand the money over to pay off BTL one.  You will officially completely own not one but two houses !!
It certainly is something we are looking forward too :)
I'm trying to work out what you are doing, you have 3 BTL's, are you aiming to pay off all three? Soon as my debt is paid off I'm saving for some land, maybe put 50% down if I can can save like I am knocking out the debt. LOL.

That sounds like a great plan - good luck :)

Yes we had 4 mortgages. the one on our own house (which we have now paid off) and 3 BTL mortgages. We have enough saved to pay off BTL1 mortgage in full and the totals you are currently seeing are going towards BTL2.

We have an investment account which is currently worth around £55K so this will be used towards BTL3 and then we will get the rest of the money for that mortgage as we have done to pay the other two off if that makes sense?

I roughly know what I'm doing - which makes a change as usually I'm clueless  :D

So when you get to the number three mortgage you are gonna have a big head start ready for the final straight. All sounds promising!

I'm hoping to grow vegetables on a larger scale, maybe pick your own, but veg rather than fruit.  Mad plan.

Sounds good :). I don't have a mortgage, hence trying to get rid of the short term debt, which I used instead. I think it will work out better as I should be paid off by next summer. Hard to overpay at that rate on a normal mortgage :(
