Your doing very well. I've stalled completely. The last two debts I have are defaulted and on hold whilst tesco bank is being taken over. So I've instead been saving. I've 1000 in savings now. It's not exactly an emergency fund as it will get used on and off through the year for car insurance and that type stuff but it's not a bad start. And I'm hoping I can get to a higher amount. It would be nice to say ooh I've got this ready when it's time to pay the debt if I can keep building it up.
    Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

    Mortgage Jan 18- 77224 May 25- just under 65k

June 25 Debts in my name only £5170. DH can't keep track...

£1000 in savings now does not sound like stalling to me.

Thanks crafting mad. DH went to pub again today so your comment has given me a boost. No objections to anyone frequenting pubs by the way just think it's unwise to piddle away all of his money all the time 😂 I've made a much more conscious effort to keep my finances more stable despite us being a couple who should obviously be trying to work together. As I say it's not a true emergency fund as some will be earmarked but it's a flipping good position to be in the month after Xmas ha ha. Does give me itchy fingers as the debt isnt going down but least I'm being productive.

I totally agree with you and understand how that must make you feel. Its so frustrating when one of you is working so hard but the other is not even trying.

Keep your chin up lovely - you are doing an amazing job and I just know that the debt will be reducing again as soon as you are able too x

Only me popping in to declare a further £82.55 I have managed to add to my OP savings account :)
    This is made up of:-

    £41.75 from a website sale
£35.80 from FB business page sale
£  5.00 from FB marketplace sale

This means my total now currently stands at £45038.68/ £81700 = 55.12%  <3

I'm another 0.1% closer to my finish line :)

Another £26.86 from me thanks to holiday pay owed from my original cafe job :) Not much but totally unexpected as I thought I had been paid it all so a nice little bonus for today. I'm also owed my weeks wages from my new new cafe job but they have not gone into my bank account yet so cannot declare them until they have been changed over :)

    My total now currently stands at £45085.54/ £81700 = 55.18%    <3

The little amounts do add up and really help even if my percentages don't increase much each time :)
