Good afternoon. Me again
I've just sold something on FB Marketplace so I've added £5 to the OP savings pot. I've also had two cheques clear from Royal Mail for items which went missing (I never used to claim so am adding this amount in) so that's another £42.
My total now stands at £35223.10/ £47300 = 74.46%
£251.80 left to reach my 75% end of year targetMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Guess who
Just popping in to declare another £25 has been transferred into the OP savings account today from a sale of some of my craft supplies to a friend
This takes my total to £35248.10/£47300 = 74.52%
That means I am only £226.90 short of reaching the 75% target. I really hope I'm going to do itMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
It's me again - in my defence it has been three days since I last posted
I'm quickly popping in to declare another £15 (keep telling myself that these amounts do make a difference) made up of £5 from a FB marketplace sale, £5 from selling a handmade item to a neighbour and £5 from a tip for delivering food from my chip shop last night
My total is now £35263.10/£47300 = 74.55%
Now only £211.90 short from my end of year targetMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Not lots to report but I have added a further £5 into the pot made up of £2 from a FB marketplace sale and £3 from resisting a MCD;s whilst out today and instead going for a £3 poundland meal deal
Every pound counts right?
My total is now £35268.10/£47300 = 74.56%
Now only £206.90 to find by the end of the year to reach my 2023 target I set for myselfMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

Hi all,
I've joined or followed this for years but my 1% is always so large I never get anywhere. Anyway, I have this little bit of debt, £173.19 so I'm going to do the 1% challenge to get rid of it just to give myself a little boost and have some fun. Haha that's my idea of fun 😄.1 -

A small amount is a great way to start - it's addictive once you get going and even 1% of large amounts are possible so good luckMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
