Foxgloves the list of what I could eat surprised me - better than when I was in hospital having it.
They’ve just phoned and brought it forward by half an hour. Dh is out and about and is going to check the parking out at the hospital and which roads to approach it on. I haven’t been to that hospital since I was 3 and visited my dad so, as you can imagine, it’s changed beyond recognition. There’s no driving down the main road in front of it anymore, unless you happen to be a bus….. I actually lived on the site of the hospital extensions when I was a baby…..I vaguely remember visiting old neighbours there before the houses were knocked down for said extensions.
I had a rubbish nights sleep again…..it is what it is. I’ll catch up when all this is over I hope.
I’m going to tai chi in a minute. If my ankle plays up I’ll come out of it. I’ve found the water based exercises suit me better….I suppose I’ve known that for a long time but you’ve got to keep trying. I might even treat myself to a herbal tea or lemonade whilst out.
Beanie I weighed myself this morning out of curiosity and I’ve put 1 lb on since last Friday and I’ve been on it - except for the white bread I’ve had cos I can’t have wholemeal 😳 I was hoping to nip in for weigh in before I go tomorrow but now they’ve brought the appointment forward I don’t think I’ll have time.

    Thanks Four seasons.
I’ve just been to tai chi.  It was an instructor I used to go to about 15 years ago. I was really pleased as I used to love his sessions….he talks you though the movements whereas the instructor who takes the Monday sessions does it to gentle music which is relaxing …..but no instructions as to how to move and it was sometimes hard to follow. I was surprised how much I’d remembered 👍 I’ve just been reading about the benefits 😂😂😂apparently in 12 weeks I’ll see a difference to my balance, blood pressure, cholesterol and half a dozen other things ……watch this space. Of course the article was written by a tai chi promotional site 😉 Can’t do any harm though. That said I’ve got a nicely swollen ankle….but that’s life.
I've just started knitting a cardigan I bought the wool for on our Cornish holiday. I had intended finishing a crocheted one I’d started but needed something new to think about today. Right off to get a herbal tea and do some knitting 😀

All done and dusted. The staff were lovely. As I expected it showed what I already knew about, it  showed another condition they’ve talked about for years but had never actually  showed up. It’s lying there dormant and it will only become an issue if it flares up. They took biopsies and it’s a matter of waiting for the results to be 100% sure but doc said it looks ok. So that’s me sorted for now.
We parked in the carpark as there is no other parking in that area at all….£5. It does infuriate me. I know I only had one visit and I don’t object too much BUT people with long term illnesses that have to make repeated visits to hospital it’s just not right. Dh went for a walk whilst I was being sorted. I did nip into SW this morning lost 3 lb……not surprisingly. That said I have  a mainly had a good week 👍 I’m determined to treat my nicely cleaned insides well and not fill them with too much rubbish. 👍
Im hoping to take my knitting in the garden as it is currently sunny 😳 shocked face…..as I haven’t seen the sunshine for a while. It’s only a very simple stitch so I should be able to concentrate. I feel totally relaxed after the meds they gave me 😀
