Might be worth reminding the ticket seller that your contract is with them, their contract is with the producers of the show...and that under the terms of the contact with them you expected to see the show stated on your tickets. As this was not in fact delivered, you would appreciate them immediately refunding you the money that you paid in good faith to see said show.  The "We're taking it up with X" response is a classic way of fudging the issue - they know that a lot of people will forget all about it in the interim.

Thanks EH…..that’s exactly what I’d planned to do. We’re away from next Thursday and if I haven’t heard anything by the time I get home I will resume battle 😂😂 I’m too busy this week to chase it up. I’m like a dog with a bone though and have no intention of letting it drop. I’m not destitute by any stretch of the imagination but I don’t have money to throw away. £90 + for 2 tickets for a show that wasn’t fully delivered isn’t on my agenda.
My friend dropped around this morning with a frozen seafood Wellington. She bought it thinking it was just salmon, but it’s got prawns and scallops in too. Dh is very happy about it. 👍 Anyone would think he was deprived 😂😂😂😂😂his waistline says otherwise…. as does mine 😵‍💫
I’m not sure what to expect tomorrow at SW. I’ve had some very good days but then there was Easter 🍫😉 I really need some new scales. I don’t like the uncertainty of not knowing what I’m expecting. I don’t weigh every day but I would have weighed after we came home from dds at Easter.
I can’t believe we’re going away again on Thursday - Cornwall this time. It has come around so quickly. We will do a pub stopover in Devon as we did last year. We’re booked on a CL (a small caravan club site) for a couple of nights and then to Haven for 5 nights.
In between I plan to keep on top of the house and washing, we also need to clean Millie out. That won’t take long though. I really need to pace myself and do a bit at a time. I’m taking antibiotics as I’m still having some issues. It’s an absolute nuisance. I didn’t have any of this type of trouble last time after my 1st op 😏 Fed up of it now. It is what it is 😏

I lost 1lb which gets me my 1/2 stone award back. 👍😃 The next hurdle is not to let it get lost in pasties and cream teas whilst I’m away. I’ll miss my own group for the next 2 weeks but will try and get to a different one on Wednesday before we head off and either find a group to pop into whilst at Cornwall or message and book a weeks holiday.
I needed a few bits - eggs, fresh stuff and cheese so I nipped to a big @sd@ a few miles away. It is a much bigger store than I usual go to and I had Dh with me. I wanted to spend £10 to qualify for £5 on my reward card. I achieved this times TEN 😵‍💫 Everything will be used. Dh is most definitely a bad influence as he talked me into getting a pretty summer dress and cardigan to match. £15 each so not too expensive. I haven’t tried the dress on yet as I don’t often wear dresses but it’s full of pink and yellow flowers. I’m not even sure it is me so it may well end up being returned. I really need to do some number crunching…. Bad habits are creeping back. We only went to the big shop as it was chucking it down for a trip out 😱

The sun is shining through the patio doors at the back of the house. I’ve been sitting on my chair that I revamped a couple of years ago and it was lovely and warm. I’m happy to say the chairs are  still looking ok 😃 I’ve just walked to the opposite end of the room and it’s like walking into a fridge. Shows what a difference a bit of sunshine makes.
Had a bacon and tomato toastie made on Georgie Forman for breakfast. Twas rather delicious. Dh enjoyed the freebie seafood Wellington last night. It was ok but I certainly wouldn’t spend money buying another, but I don’t like scallops so picked all mine out 😂😂😂

Just tried the dress on and it fits much better than I expected. It’s very slightly snug around the middle but it’s the right length and the shoulders fit well. I’m going to stitch an invisible stitch down the front as it has buttons down the front and I don’t actually need to use them - it goes easily over my head. My incentive to keep on at SlimmingWorld 👍 The cardigan goes well with a few tops I have 👍
