Thanks WW. Most of the time I know it isn’t noticeable as long as I choose slightly flared tops. I think I’m just conscious of it. I have quite a few nice dresses……we’d planned a cruise for our 40th wedding anniversary….then I broke my arm and waited quite a while after the initial op for the bigger op to sort it, so we put the cruise off as I wanted to be able to make full use of everything- not have to stop doing things because of my arm. Then covid hit so we never got to go on it. I’m not sure I want to go in a floating box of germs now. We got the motorhome which I love…..but it’s doesn’t shout out posh dresses 😂😂
I’ve given myself a good talking to and we went out for a lovely walk at out to our NT. The spring flowers lifted my mood. The snowdrops were beautiful 👍

  • Cruises always seem so ‘peopley’ to me 😖.  Millie motor home is much more civilised. You could find a posh restaurant on your travels and bring out the posh frocks? The spring walk sounded lovely 🌸

A busy day yesterday. I went to U3A singing group which was lovely and then tai chi. I’d planned a tidy up once I was home but that didn’t happen as I was shattered. It wasn’t bad at all so nothing lost. The tidying will be today instead. Bedding is in the washer so I need to get off here and get my behind into gear and sort things.
Only spends yesterday were from my incidental cash pot.

Spent yesterday tidying up which turned into more of a spring clean than I’d intended. I was shattered last night so Dh took me to a nice Wetherspoons a few miles away. Not what I’d planned but very nice non the less. Won’t do the weightloss any good though 😉😂😳
I went for a nice walk with a real life MSE friend today…we had dinner half way around. It was a lovely day. I’m just debating nipping into my local town to specsavers as I’ve lost a pad from the bridge of my specs. I might leave it until tomorrow though and chill after my walk…..but my specs are digging into my nose. Decisions, decisions….

I did go and get my specs sorted. I drove as I don’t think I’d have managed a walk after my lovely walk earlier. Took a couple of minutes and no charge. I had a bit of a nosey around what is left of town. It really is a mess as there are barriers everywhere as they’re turning many of the empty shops into offices and flats and putting block paving to replace the old block paving which has been patched with tarmac and it  looks real mess. Hopefully it’ll improve in time. I called into H@bbycr@ft and bought a few bits for me and the 1st of my Christmas pressies for next year - stocking fillers for gks which were half price 😀 so £12 spent in there.
Dh has just phoned and will be home late so I’ve got a peaceful evening.
