What a palaver with the flat tyre but brilliant that you got it sorted so quickly. Sounds like you’ve got some lovely trips to look forward to lined up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Great that the breakdown company sorted your flat tyre out so quickly. I live in dread of that happening to me while out and about too. Washing and hoovering done this morning so just having a cuppa. This afternoon we’re heading to the nice Italian restaurant whilst the half price food is still available ( every Monday to Thursday in January) and Dh has £35 worth of vouchers to spend. 😀😀
Will see what the scales say tomorrow………I have been concentrating on not snacking between meals though and I’ve done pretty good…..even though I say so myself.January spends - £587.581 -
We couldn’t spend the restaurant vouchers yesterday as the food was all half price so they were only accepting one offer at a time. Means we can have another cheap trip out though 😀👍 Dh paid and we had a lovely afternoon.
Slimming World this morning…..I’m not hopeful for a loss. Dh has a day off work for his birthday so we’re going out somewhere for a walk.January spends - £587.582 -
As I expected I put 1 lb on yesterday. I’m mad with myself for eating out 5 times last week and I didn’t make the best choices. It is what it is.We went for a walk yesterday afternoon and Dh and ds had a take away from a Caribbean place they’ve wanted to try for ages - it’s way too hot and spicy for me so I had stewed steak, mash and cabbage leftovers. No spends either so I’m polishing my halo.I’ve just made ds a birthday cake for tomorrow…nothing fancy. Delia’s ginger and lemon cake. Not made one of those for ages. Smells delicious and has risen nicely.January spends - £587.580

The cake sounds delicious.

I’m hoping it’ll drop off by next week WW. I’m out for a meal with ds for his birthday tomorrow. I’m going to enjoy it without overeating and then really watch what I do for the rest of the week.

1lb on is good to say you had 5 meals out. The cake sounds good to me too, I’m not a massive cake fan but I love ginger and lemon together. One of my retired work friends used to make a maple syrup and ginger cake that was to die for.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
