  • I had to touch up a section of the front room wall here this morning SA as when the sun was on it yesterday I could see a patchy bit! Annoying but didn’t take more than a few minutes. That was a darker colour over light though - I suspect you’ll be ok with yellow over cream.

    I’m just glad the ceiling didn’t need doing. The room was painted professionally a couple of years ago and the walls got scratched when we moved the old gym equipment out last year to make it into an office otherwise it would’ve only been the woodwork to freshen up. 
    I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    Sounds like you're making a great job of it! It's amazing how much better paint looks the next morning when you go in & see it dried & in proper daylight. Good to get it done before Christmas too. Always nice to start the New Year a bit ahead of yourself with tasks.
