The sun came out briefly and only showed up one little patch that needed going over.

The euphoria was short lived sadly as I caught Mr SA trying to sneak a crate of beer into the house. I had a battle with him but I managed to take it off him. He’s not happy as he claims it’s his and I can’t take it off him. I went back upstairs briefly to tidy up and when I came back down I caught him hunting through the cupboard where I keep my wine. Honestly I’m at the end of my tether with him, it’s so frustrating 😖

    Well done on the painting.

I really feel for you with Mr SA, he's such hard work.

I'm very impressed with your decorating work.

Less so with Mr SA's conduct. Where did he think he was going to hide a crate of beer without you ever seeing?!
I know you said it's unlikely you'll get support but could you reapply for a carer's break? It really sounds like you need it...

It’s a pale lemon rather than bright yellow. It wasn’t cheap but looks good so worth the price. It’s meant for small rooms to give the impression of more space apparently.

Grr to Mr SA! I get that he's frustrated, but I also get that you can't give it to him and what the repercussions could be if he had free rein. Why can't he get a liking for decaff tea?

The pale yellow sounds lovely. We had similar on our staircase for ages: permanent sunshine and warmth.

Exactly! The thing is he had a coffee this afternoon and it upset his tummy so he said maybe he shouldn’t drink it. But he is oblivious to the fact that beer probably does the same thing 😖

What would he do if you dumped him at A & E as so many people have when they can’t cope. Though I know that you would not.
