Happy Saturday 🥂
What a wet day! We managed to get to the big Mr T but got soaked on the way back.We ended up not going to the Christmas market as DIL was taken into hospital with a kidney infection. She’s on IV antibiotics at the moment. There was no point going without them as it was raining and the market is on every weekend until Christmas.Utilised the freed up time to give the living room a good clean prior to putting up the Christmas tree tomorrow.Tonight’s dinner is homemade spicy bean burger with potato wedges and salad.Strictly and Prosecco later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

I hope your DiL is soon better and you can all plan again for another week. Perhaps it's best anyway, on such a wet day, to be under cover and get some jobs done.

Morning all, how can it be the last day of November already!Mr SA has just got up and is insisting it’s Monday 😐
I’ve got loads to do today. DD has gone to work so I’ll have an opportunity to clean the kitchen and bathroom. I also need to move my office furniture away from the window area to leave room for the builder to replace it.Will take the dog on the park later this morning. Other exercise will be yoga and strength training from YT.I’m going to put the Christmas tree up later. I need to sort out the decorations boxes and take what I don’t want to the charity shop.I’m trying to motivate Mr SA to make a start on clearing up the shed while we’ve got the skip - not having much success with this so far.Tonight’s dinner will be fish pie with steamed veg. I need to make a meal plan based on what I’ve got in stock for the coming week. Trying to keep food spend down as this the final week of the 4 week budget period and the freezer is rammed.I’ve got another really busy week ahead with the builder coming tomorrow, Wednesday is Mr SA’s eye test and the trip into town and Friday I’m meeting friends for lunch again. I’ll have to WFH tomorrow, maybe Tuesday too if the builder hasn’t finished. Ideally I’d like to be out of the way in the office but can’t leave Mr SA in charge of any decisions about the building work. He’s even admitted he won’t be able to cope on his own if any issues arise. It should be a NSD.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Took two bags of donations to the charity shop. They’ve signed me up for gift aid now.Got back home to find Mr SA had fallen over in the shed and couldn’t get back up. Took over an hour of trying to get him to roll over onto his knees and lots of pushing and pulling before he eventually got back on his feet. He’s pulled my back slightly so will do a back focused yoga session to try and stem any stiffness tomorrow. So I ended up taking the stuff from the shed to the skip. Didn’t you just know that was going to happen! My office window isn’t being delivered until Monday afternoon so the builder won’t be able to fit it until Tuesday morning. That at least gives me a reprieve from moving the furniture today. Plus I can work from there tomorrow rather than move everything downstairs.I set up the Christmas tree ready for decorating this morning. Obviously stalled by having to sort Mr SA out, go to the charity shop and make lunch. He came back in the house and asked why I hadn’t decorated it yet - really!!
DIL was discharged last night but has to go back to hospital every day for a week for the IV antibiotics. Good job she drives and the hospital is 10 minutes away.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
big hugs 🤗3
