Day 2 of the Busy Week done ✔️
Worked in the office until 1pm then met my friend for a catch up and book swap. It was lovely to chat and relax for a couple of hours.Got back home and Mr SA was complaining about his very stressful day. He thought he had a nurse appointment for 10am which turned out to be 9am. This upset his IBD so he had to go back home and rearrange the appointment. Then he had a bad headache all afternoon. Honestly I feel like I can’t leave him on his own!And he still doesn’t know I’m out for the day on Friday 😬
The waterproof/snow boots arrived last night and they’re just what I was hoping for. Will see how they fare when it next rains and/or gets icy.Today’s exercise was walking to/from work. Tonight’s dinner was veg chilli with potato wedges.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Morning all.
Day 3 of the very busy week. Next week is shaping up to be much of the same.
WFH today thank goodness.
I have the dentist shortly then back to work then the hairdressers then back to work.
Mr M delivery arrived this morning at 6am so that's all packed away, no subs or missing items so all good.
Mid week finance check done and cc balance paid off. An oddment of £11.92 has gone to the Christmas 2026 pot. £20.95 from the Christmas 2025 pot transferred into current account to cover recent spends. Money for airport lounge transferred to current account from the holiday pot. It's a good job I've got a spreadsheet to keep track of all these comings and goings 😆
I must book a skip today or it might not be here for Monday.
Today's exercise was yoga first thing, walking to/from the dentists and hairdressers and Zumba is back tonight. Might try and fit in a short strength training session in as I missed resistance bands last night and will miss tomorrow's strength training due to having to go in the office.
Need to sort out tonight's dinner. I was going to try a new recipe that I keep bumping on and off my meal plan but not sure if I'll have time.
I also somehow need to find time to clean the bathroom and do some ironing.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
