Gentle reminder SA - you don't need to compensate for missing an exercise session because life is busy by squeezing in extra ones on other ALSO busy days!

The dentist visit was quicker than anticipated so that gave me back some extra time. Thankfully the dentist and hairdressers are both only 10 minutes walk from home.
The skip has been booked and should be here Friday. The hire period is 30 days so we'll have plenty of time to fill it.
Work are doing some discounts on gift cards starting on Friday so waiting to see what they offer before buying the dishwasher. They're currently offering 6% off on Curry's gift cards so will wait to see if this amount goes up. It won't save shed loads but it all helps. I still mourn the loss of Debenhams as work used to do some really good discounts on Black Friday on top of the discounts Debenhams had. I used to do a fair bit of Christmas shopping on the way home from work armed with my gift card code.
Decided to go ahead with the new recipe as I'll have time and it can be cooking while I do Zumba: Romesco chickpea traybake.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I miss the big Debenhams store as well, @Sun_Addict. It was a fine old building & it's sad to see it just sitting there empty. I loved that big old wooden staircase. I did always think it needed a refurb in the clothing dept as all the different brands/collections made for a rather muddled couple of floors, but it still sold a good range of stuff & the homewares section was always good, plus the beauty/perfume dept. The sales were always good too.

The Romesco bake was absolutely delicious. I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. It was a bit of faff initially but so worth it. I’ve never tried silken tofu in a sauce before but will definitely use it again, it made the sauce really creamy.Mr SA apparently knows I’m out for the day on Friday. The only way he could know this is by looking at the calendar on my office wall. Well it saved me a job and he’s happy enough being on skip duty that day.
I’ve decided to try and paint my office myself. It’s only a small room and if the painter did it I’d have to move out most, if not all, of the furniture. I’m happy to just do one wall at a time and just move furniture out of the way as needed. There’s only me goes in there so it doesn’t have to be perfect. I plan to take my time and do it gradually.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Good plan to do the office yourself - sounds like it will be easier all round as well as obviously saving you a bit of money too. We're big fans of saving the "get a man in money" for the stuff we definitely can't do ourselves!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

That’s my working week done ✔️ Went into the office super early and finished at 1pm. Had back to back meetings all morning so it flew by.Stopped off at Lid! on the way home. Redeemed the free toiletry voucher on a bottle of shower gel for Mr SA.Got back home to a lovely surprise from the bloke I PA for - a huge bouquet of roses with a vase and chocolates. It’s to say thank you for looking after him this year. I didn’t expect this, it’s my job, I get paid for it and he’s no trouble most of the time. But very nice anyway and lovely to be appreciated. Was back home for 30 minutes then it was time to go back out for my nail appointment. I’ve had some nails green glitter and some gold glitter.Today’s exercise was walking to/from work then to/from the beauty salon plus Zumba tonight. As I bought some veggie sausages half price in Lid! tonight’s dinner was veggie sausage tray bake.So looking forward to tomorrow and train tickets have been picked up. I work across the road from the train station which is handy. Of all the catch ups with friends I have I think this is my favourite one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
